Our team recently completed chilled water pipeline insulation works for air-cooled chillers installed at a mall facility. Proper insulation of CHW supply and return lines is critical to prevent energy loss, surface condensation and long term corrosion.

During a recent service call at a gift shop operating a ducted split system. The outdoor unit was found heavily iced, particularly around the suction line and compressor section. Based on inspection and operating conditions. The likely root cause was restricted airflow across the indoor ev***rator coil. This is commonly caused by clogged filters, dirty ev***rator coils or blower performance issues. When airflow is insufficient the ev***rator temperature drops below freezing. Leading to ice formation that eventually extends to the suction line and outdoor components.

After isolating the fault. Our team inspected the indoor unit through the ceiling access panel. Assessed coil condition, checked blower operation and evaluated refrigerant parameters. Corrective servicing was carried out to restore proper airflow and system balance. Eliminating icing and stabilizing performance.

We attended a complaint for a supermarket chiller that was unable to maintain the required 5°C temperature, directly affecting product storage conditions. Upon inspection, we identified a completely blocked drainage line caused by plastic particles and heavy ice accumulation.

Our team safely melted the ice formation, cleared the drainage blockage and carried out a full inspection of both indoor and outdoor components. The control panel wiring was also reorganized and properly set, as it was previously untidy and improperly arranged. After restarting and monitoring the system, the chiller stabilized and successfully maintained the required 5°C operating temperature.
