From one piece of truss to an entire concert tech production🪄🔩

Looks like magic in several seconds. Takes a whole lot more in real life.

That’s what we build at MFA.

Where physical meets digital 🎮⚡

At Phygital Games of the Future 2025 at ADNEC Abu Dhabi, MFA provided technical support across multiple halls hosting a new generation of competition.

Different stages. Different formats. One venue transformed into a world where traditional sport and gaming came together.

Behind it all: structures, grandstands and technical production by MFA🔩

There was a swimming pool here. Then we needed a venue. 🏊‍♂️🔩

From working in the water to building a full-scale platform over it – this is how a pool becomes usable event space.

Levelled, supported and built to carry what comes next. By the end, the pool disappears completely.

Watch it come together.

Recap: F1 Abu Dhabi 2025 🏁

The VVIP zone before it transformed into itself.

MFA delivered the platform structures at Yas Marina – decks built over water features and landscaping that couldn’t be touched, then levelled into one flat floor 🔩

Days of scaffolding, night shifts, and a load-in schedule that answers to the race, not to us ⚙️🏎️

How did we hang an ice hockey match and a fairytale off the same ceiling? 🏒🎭

An ice hockey match filled Coca-Cola Arena one day. Sleeping Beauty played the same arena the next. 24 hours to turn one into the other ⏱

Two different production teams, different rigging points, all combined into a single structure 🔩

The audience walked into a rink, then into a fairytale.

What we see vs what everyone sees 👀

Same room, same structure and two completely different views. Behind the scenes: steel, scaffolding, rigging and a lot of work no guest will ever notice. The result is that none of it is supposed to be seen. Just the experience it was built to create.
🔩That’s technical production doing its job!

Which side do you find more impressive?👇

📆 Q4 in the UAE events calendar has no soft landing. From late October, the region’s major events stack almost back to back. If you’re building for any of them, this is the window to have pinned.

Our October–December schedule is also filling up. If your project lands in that window, drop us a line👇

📍Which one are you on this year?

⚡ 2–5 Nov · ADIPEC – ADNEC Abu Dhabi
The energy industry’s annual anchor, from exploration to petrochemicals, with a fast-growing block on transition and renewables.

🏗️ 23–26 Nov · Big 5 Global – DWTC
2,500+ exhibitors across 20 halls, alongside HVACR Expo, Middle East Concrete and PMV Live. LiveableCitiesX, Geo World and Future FM join for the first time this year.

🇦🇪 2 Dec · UAE National Day
The one night the whole country programs at once. Stages, screens and lighting go up across all seven emirates for the same evening.

🏁 3–6 Dec · Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – Yas Marina
The season finale, with a Yasalam concert run that opens on the 3rd and has become half the reason people book the weekend.

💻 7–11 Dec · GITEX Global – Expo City
46th edition, 6,800 exhibitors, 200,000+ visitors. First year out of DWTC, in a venue with a completely different footprint to plan around.
