The future is shaped by those prepared to build it.
Across the UAE, Emirati women continue to contribute to the ideas, institutions, and industries defining what comes next.
On Emirati Women’s Day, AirQ recognizes that contribution and the knowledge, ambition, and determination behind it.
Together, We Rise Stronger and Better.

Readiness isn’t a claim. It’s built before launch.
Before an aircraft reaches the launcher, aircraft preparation, system checks, launcher setup, and crew coordination must align around a common objective.
This work helps identify potential issues while there is still time to address them, keeps responsibilities clear, and brings the aircraft, supporting systems, and flight operations team to the point of launch as a single operational unit.
It’s the work behind the moment everyone sees.

What happens after a target aircraft completes its mission profile? The answer can determine how soon the next one begins.

Training and testing depend on repetition. If a target platform remains intact after a non-destructive sortie but is lost during recovery, that cycle can be interrupted.

When mission conditions allow, StingJet’s controlled parachute recovery enables the aircraft to be recovered after completing its assigned flight profile, supporting rapid turnaround and repeat deployment.

Because StingJet can be configured to replicate different radar, infrared, and electronic signatures, recovering the platform can support further training and evaluation under comparable conditions.

The value is not the parachute alone. It is the continuity it helps create, because realistic training is not only about recreating a threat once, but also about being able to do it again.

El Alamein is our next stop.
From 8–10 September, AirQ will be at El Alamein International Airshow 2026, presenting selected UAV systems and the in-house capabilities behind them, from design and manufacturing to integration, testing, and validation.
Our team will be there to discuss how mission-built systems can be adapted to different operational requirements, and why keeping that process in-house matters when those requirements change.
Built to adapt. Proven to perform.

The blood is available. The medicine is available. But a hospital can't use what it can't reach in time.
That's one of the hidden weaknesses in medical supply chains: critical supplies are in the network while demand rises elsewhere.
AirQ Cargo is built for exactly this: moving critical medical supplies on demand, hub-to-hospital, when minutes decide outcomes.

This archival footage takes us back to StingJet’s early development and the second launcher configuration we built while our dedicated electric launcher was still being completed.
It wasn’t the final system, but it solved an immediate problem. It kept testing moving and made it easier to automatically position a fully assembled aircraft onto the vehicle.
It may look like a small step today. Back then, it was the step that kept everything moving.

Aksh Sharma, AirQ's Guidance, Navigation & Control Engineer, has spent the past few months exploring how AI could strengthen the way our systems perceive, interpret, and make decisions.
The goal isn’t to follow where autonomous systems are headed. It’s to understand where AI can genuinely move them forward.

In the final episode of this three-part series, Iva Sladić, Community Manager at AirQ, reflects on what it takes to move from developing UAV technology to deploying it at scale.
Access to infrastructure, industry collaboration, and a coordinated ecosystem can accelerate the journey from concept to ex*****on, supporting faster testing, more effective operations, and capabilities designed for long-term growth.
Featured by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, this final conversation brings the series to a close: advanced UAV systems do not scale in isolation. They scale when technology, real-world experience, infrastructure, and the right environment work as one.

In the second episode of this three-part series, Iva Sladić, Community Manager at Air Q, explains how operating in demanding environments directly influences the way our systems are designed, tested, and improved.
Real-world testing exposes limitations, generates critical data, and helps transform technical capability into resilient, adaptable, and scalable solutions.
Featured by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, this episode highlights why real operating experience must remain part of every stage of UAV development.

100+ people. One team. One direction. 🎉
Back in 2021, we were a handful of engineers with one goal: build UAV systems entirely in-house.
Today, that's a full team in Abu Dhabi: engineers, technicians, operators, production, design, and support, working side by side to design, build, test, and fly what we make.
No UAV gets built by one department. It takes every discipline, and everyone who connects them.
