Construction of the electric arc furnace in Donawitz is progressing on schedule. 14,600 tons of steel have already been installed – equivalent to twice the weight of the Eiffel Tower. 🏗️ Starting in 2027, we will produce 850,000 tons of CO₂-reduced steel per year right here. 💚

For a new warehouse, Nijhuis Saur Industries Benelux trusted our voestalpine company NEDCON — with impressive results: 72% less CO₂ emissions compared to conventional steel. 🌱 Completed in February, the project is also NEDCON's first warehouse system worldwide in the greentec steel Edition. 🌍
