🏆 A National Title for a Legendary Duo 🏆

Herbert Pirker – the inventor of the bug wiper – has claimed the Austrian National Gliding Championship in the double-seater class at the age of 82, flying alongside his son Martin. 😍🛩️

The father-and-son duo made the most of perfect ridge-soaring conditions, pulling ahead of the field with impressive average speeds.

Martin puts it simply: “The bug wipers certainly helped.”

We couldn’t be happier for you both – what an incredible achievement. 💪 Warm congratulations to all the other athletes who made it onto the podium – well done. 👏

Now also modified on the EB29DR, the combination of pulley and sliding ni**le ... the wiper goes fast and also no longer loses tension when folded!
