Massive congratulations to our entire Transport Team — our drivers, admin crew, management, and mechanics — on an incredible achievement delivering the first stage of this major upgrade project.

Over 1.05 million tonnes transported safely and efficiently, running day and night for the past 5 months with maximum effort and outstanding results. This milestone reflects the hard work, commitment, and professionalism of every person involved.

At Jakarli Group, we truly appreciate the support and trust of our clients in allowing us to deliver this project safely, reliably, and to the highest standard.

Why We Became Jakarli Group Services
Since our inception, EK Contracting Pty Ltd has proudly delivered earthworks, plant hire, and civil support to projects across Western Australia. Over time, we’ve grown — in scope, in community, and in culture. And with that growth came the opportunity to realign our name with who we are, and what we stand for.

As of June 2025, EK Contracting Pty Ltd will now be trading as:
Jakarli Group Services
This change is in name only — our ABN, ownership, systems, and dedication to safe, reliable service remain unchanged.

“Jakarli” is a word from the Nyamal Aboriginal language. It means:

To carry babies — a symbol of our investment in training and mentoring the next generation of Indigenous operators

To carry water — a nod to our ability to support and sustain remote projects

To dig — a perfect reflection of our expertise in civil, mining, and earthmoving services

These meanings align deeply with our company values: safety, growth, Indigenous empowerment, and environmental respect.
