Timber Merbau screen. We filled in this customers car port, giving the cars protection from the weather, whilst also covering the bins up. We built a custom gate to access the side space and made the decking boards line up to give it a seamless finish. Really happy with how this one came out. Two doors transformed today! 😍

This week's entranceway makeover came with a few surprises! 👊🏻
The customer's little boy kept tripping over some old cracked tiles that sat 20mm above the existing floor, so they asked us to remove them and create a flush, safe entry.
Once the tiles were up, we discovered an old concrete cooker base sitting right in the middle of the doorway. To make things more challenging, the existing hardwood flooring is no longer made, and the current board sizes don't match, ruling out a seamless repair.
Instead of fighting it, we embraced it.
We removed the concrete, installed new joists, and laid new flooring in a different direction to create a feature right at the entrance. What started as a problem ended up becoming one of the standout features of the home.
Safe, practical, and a great result all round. We're stoked with it, and the customers love it. 🪚🛠️🔥

Another quality shed completed in Ballarat and this one came with some tight access challenges. With a retaining wall along one side and the back fence limiting space, this project required careful planning and precision from start to finish.

The end result came up an absolute treat. The shed blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscaping while adding practical, functional storage to the property.

Featuring a 2.5m roller door and personal access door, the space is designed for convenience making day to day access easy while still allowing larger items to move in and out effortlessly. The fully insulated roof is also a must for handling Ballarat’s unpredictable weather conditions year-round.

Really proud of how this one turned out. A great combination of functionality, accessibility, and a clean finish that complements the backyard perfectly.

Out with the old, in with the new 🔨

Full demo completed, with new pier holes poured and set to the same height for a solid foundation.

Keeping the existing slab and tying in a new infill slab once the shed is complete.

Good progress made today despite some ordinary weather, stay tuned for the final result. 😊
