Some of our team were lucky enough to attend CCF Women in Civil luncheon yesterday - a celebration supporting and empowering women across our industry. 👏🏽

QMC is thrilled that Stacey was invited to be a panelist. Stacey recently joined QMC’s Landscape Portfolio as Site Manager, with her first project delivering the redevelopment of Harry Noble Reserve. 🌳🛝

We’re excited to work alongside and support Stacey in encouraging more women to build careers in this great industry, and most importantly, in creating opportunities for them here at QMC.

Every year since 2018, QMC announces the winner of the ‘Jennifer Gao Outstanding Effort’. The award is in memory of Jennifer who was both a wonderful person and provided an exceptional 15 years’ service to QMC Group.

QMC’s Managing Director, Steven, has announced ✨ Baishali Adhikari ✨ as this year’s winner. Steven said “It became obvious to me that Baishali should be the recipient when she took an unexpected two week leave in November and immediately became QMC’s most sought after person, with many colleagues asking when she would return”

In addition to supporting our estimating department, Baishali’s effort this year highlighted her versatility and value to QMC when she stepped into the Site Engineer role for our Harmony Park Project at Surry Hills. This year, Baishali has also completed courses in Quality Management and Sustainability in Construction and is currently doing her Cert IV in WHS. Her passion for learning shows how dedicated she is to improving and constantly adding more value in her contributions to the company. Congratulations and thank you, Baishali, on a truly outstanding effort.

There has been 11 previous winners of this award, and Baishali is the fifth woman among them.

Our Hyde Park project team has been busy working closely with our key stakeholders at the Anzac Memorial to reinstate our worksite ahead of their key events. On Sunday, we facilitated Princess Anne’s visit, as well as today’s memorial service for Remembrance Day.

This morning, our team at Hyde Park put tools down to remember and reflect on the sacrifice of those who lost their lives to protect and serve our country. 🇦🇺

Our Infrastructure Team’s efforts with the streetscape upgrade to Naremburn Local Centre were recently acknowledged with the project winning the Landscape Architecture Award in Small Projects at 2025 Awards. The citation stated:

This modest but strategic public domain upgrade demonstrates how small-scale interventions can have a meaningful impact on urban centres. Working within a tight budget and complex site constraints, the project delivers a unified, accessible public space that balances pedestrian amenity with commercial needs. Through sensitive community engagement, First Nations storytelling and multifunctional design, it exemplifies resourceful thinking. A compelling case for the power of small projects — and a benchmark for Councils seeking to revitalise local centres with limited means.

A huge thank you and congratulations to our incredible team, clients at , Architecture and all other consultants for the award win.
