BLESS! A Victorian Police officer kept this gorgeous little boy distracted with a fireman teddy while his mother was being rescued out from under a car.

His mama is expected to make a full recovery.

Over 1,900 lives have been saved since Safariland began recording 'saves' 14 years ago. A 'save' is recorded when an operator wearing Safariland ballistic armour (including helmets) survives a life threatening injury because of their armour. On December 16, 2014, an International Tactical Operations Unit took fire from a barricaded suspect during an active shooter incident. Their PROTECH® NATO 1™ Ballistic Shield was hit by a 12-gauge slug in the viewport directly in front of the shield operator’s face and stopped the round with no injury to the operator.

SOFIC 2015 in the US was a great event. Lots of new tech and great new designs for the warfighter. Team Wendy displayed its latest appliqué armour for it's outstanding EXFIL Ballistic helmet:

You may notice a tin crack along the crest of this Team Wendy EXFIL Ballistic shell. That’s because it consists of fore and aft ballistic appliqués.

The Anzac2015: Gallipoli 100 surf boat crews covered 60 kilometres through the Dardenelles over two days to raise money for ex-service charities. Aquaterro was privileged to be able to support the only Australian Defence Force boat crew in the event. The team rowed around the Dardanelles and ashore at ANZAC cove from the 23-25 of April. Our congratulations go to the current serving members of the Australian Army and Special Forces crew.

Great photo shoot with the new Polaris DAGOR - Team Wendy gear and a gun mount system from Dillon. Now Special Forces can have a compact vehicle that fits into a CH47 and mounts an M134D Mini Gun, .50Cal, MAG 58 or Mk19. They can even swap weapons in around 2 minutes without tools.
