Chaos Traffic Solutions is seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our growing team in the Hunter Region.
This is a full-time night shift role (Sunday to Thursday), offering a great opportunity to step into a leadership position within a supportive and close-knit team.
About the Role
In this role, you will lead traffic control crews supporting asphalt works across major road projects. You will be responsible for coordinating daily site activities, maintaining safety and compliance standards, and ensuring smooth operations in a dynamic environment. The role involves working closely alongside a fast-paced, professional asphalt team on council and TfNSW sites, requiring strong leadership, communication, and the ability to adapt to changing site conditions.
Key requirements
Minimum 2 years experience working on TfNSW worksites
At least 2 years experience working alongside asphalt crews
Poven ability to lead and manage teams of up to 10 people
Strong understanding of Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS’s) and site safety requirements
Ability to adapt to changing site requirements and conditions
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Effective communication skills
The ability to train and mentor team members on the job
Reliable, professional and able to work night shift consistently
