Standing seam roofing: harder to install, built to last. Same Colorbond material as a normal roof, but once it is up, it is up. No rescaffolding for a repaint in eight years. Would you pay more upfront to never paint it?

A timber deck upstairs, a timber ceiling below, and no water damage in between. Aluminium extrusion joists form a box gutter, flashings done properly, and you can hose the deck without a worry. Blackbutt deck, rosewood ceiling.
