From Grey to Bright & White ✨

A fresh new look for this Gold Coast kitchen.

Without making major changes to the existing layout, we transformed the space with clean white cabinetry, light stone surfaces and smarter closed storage.

The result? A kitchen that feels brighter, cleaner and far more organised — proving that a great transformation doesn’t always require changing the entire layout.

Before → After. What a difference.

A considered mix of deep blue-grey cabinetry, warm walnut, light stone benchtops and brass detailing gives this kitchen depth without making the space feel heavy.

The open-plan layout keeps the island at the centre of everyday living, creating an easy flow between preparation, cooking and dining. Repeating the darker cabinetry across different zones also helps connect the kitchen and dining area as one cohesive space.

A balance of material, proportion and practical flow — designed to look good and work beautifully for everyday Australian living.

One Home, Many Shades of Blue

Blue doesn’t have to mean one colour throughout the whole home.

For this renovation, we worked with several different tones — from deep peacock blue-green cabinetry in the kitchen, to softer misty blue-grey joinery, lighter blues in the bathroom, and deeper blue details elsewhere in the home.

The key was making those colours feel connected rather than repetitive.

Clean white stone surfaces keep the kitchen fresh, timber adds warmth, while brushed metal and subtle lighting bring definition to the darker cabinetry. In the bathroom, grey stone-look tiles, warm timber and brass details create a quieter, more neutral contrast.

The result is a home with plenty of colour, but still feels calm, cohesive and easy to live in.

A Touch of Peacock Blue 💙

Deep peacock blue-green flows from the kitchen through to the bathroom, paired with warm timber, stone and contrasting textures.

Bold enough to give the home character, yet balanced enough to feel timeless.

Gold Coast Whole-Home Renovation | French Elegance in Soft Blue

A fresh take on French-inspired interiors for this Gold Coast home. 🩵

With an overall renovation budget of approximately AUD $80K, we wanted the home to feel elegant and considered, without making it overly traditional.

The soft sky-blue Slim Shaker cabinetry became one of the defining features of the renovation. Paired with light stone surfaces and warm gold-toned hardware, it brings a subtle French influence while keeping the space bright, relaxed and well suited to the Gold Coast lifestyle.

The same palette continues through the bathroom, creating a natural connection between different areas of the home rather than treating each room as a separate design.

For us, a successful whole-home renovation isn’t about adding more. It’s about choosing the right colours, materials and details so everything works together — and still feels good to live with years from now.

Would you be brave enough to use this soft blue throughout your home, or would you keep it classic and neutral?

More Than a Renovation,A New Way to Live

This bathroom renovation was designed to feel less like a purely functional space and more like a private retreat at home.

A warm, neutral palette brings together travertine-look porcelain tiles, light oak-toned cabinetry and soft brushed-brass finishes. The porcelain surfaces create the natural character of stone while offering practical, low-maintenance performance for a wet area.

A wall-mounted vanity keeps the room feeling open and makes the floor easier to clean, while the wall-mounted tapware leaves more usable bench space. The freestanding bath, frameless shower screen and natural light complete the relaxed, resort-inspired atmosphere.

The result is a bathroom that feels calm and inviting—designed not only for daily routines, but also for slowing down at the end of the day.

No More Living Room, But She Got a Space of Her Own 🤍

As their daughter grew older, her parents decided it was time for her to have a space of her own.

We transformed an underused living room into a cosy bedroom with its own bathroom, keeping the natural light and replacing the old carpet with timber flooring.

Small, warm, and designed with plenty of input from the little owner herself. 🏡

What age do you think kids should have their own room?
