Mondure crossing done and it’s come up looking pretty good , thanks to everyone involved.
Time to take a break from Floodways works on the South Burnett and looking forward to what comes next .

Late one yesterday, 7:30 finish , then 3 hour drive back home but apron slabs in and out of the mud, well done to everyone who put in the hard yards to hit another milestone, much appreciated 👌

Massive milestone today, after damming up a flowing creek and diverting the flow, then excavating a 3 m pit in sloppy river mud , pouring a slab on rock then having a rain event flood the pit back in again and start from scratch , it was a huge relief to see these 20 culvert sections move into place today , it’s been an interesting job this one and not something you see every day . Everyone involved from Pike Construction Group, Bigcrete and L& J industries , have all worked their arses off to get to this point , please Huey, no more rain please🙏
