A little before & after photo dump from some of our projects👷🏼‍♂️🔨

Not every job is a big renovation. Sometimes it’s replacing rotten timber before it becomes a bigger problem, upgrading an old door to improve security and street appeal, or bringing a tired deck back to life so it’s somewhere you actually want to spend time.

A lot of these issues start small and often go unnoticed until they become more expensive to repair. Regular maintenance and fixing things early can save a lot of money in the long run.

We’re proud to take the time to do repairs properly, using quality materials and workmanship that lasts.

Not sure what was holding this balcony up… hopes and dreams?

The client originally called us out to replace it because it looked like water damage.

Once we started pulling it apart, it became pretty clear there was more going on.

The structural timbers were heavily compromised and we found active termites still inside the framework.

From the outside, it didn’t look catastrophic.
Underneath was a different story.

This is why we always strip things back properly instead of covering over damage. You need to see what you’re actually working with.

If something feels soft, swollen, or just not quite right, it’s worth getting it checked sooner rather than later!

Most deck failures don’t start on the surface… they start underneath.

Water traps on top of joists and slowly breaks timber down from the inside.

We use Protect-A-Deck on our builds to prevent moisture from sitting on top of the joists, which is one of the biggest causes of premature rot.

It’s one of those details that separates an average deck from a professional build. It’s a simple step that can add years to the life of your deck.

Rotten timber isn’t just an eyesore.. it’s a safety risk!

This deck needed a full replacement of the joists, decking boards and balustrade and the result speaks for itself. Now a beautiful deck ready to be enjoyed again ☀️
