On Fridays, we wear Trademutt.

trademutt is an Australian workwear brand on a mission to get tradies talking about mental health. Every loud, bright, impossible-to-ignore shirt is a conversation starter and every purchase supports free mental health services for people in the trades industry.

It’s a cause close to our hearts.

Steve’s parents were among the first businesses in Grafton to introduce Funky Shirt Fridays. It was something his dad was so proud of — backing a movement that mattered, and making sure his team knew it was okay to talk.

Yesterday we attended our first HIA Conference, and what a way to kick it off.

Held just down the road from us on the Gold Coast, it was a full day of connecting with industry peers and professionals from right across Australia, staying across the latest in design, AI, and communication, and genuinely learning from some of the best in residential construction.

It was topped off with rides, games, drinks and dinner at Movie World. Not a bad way to spend an evening.

It's not often we're all on the same site together, but when we are, it's a good laugh.

Our furniture and artwork have been ordered, and things are finally starting to take shape upstairs at our warehouse.

We’ve booked in our trusty electrician, , to install the beautiful lights we’ve chosen and add the extra power points we desperately need around the place. Meanwhile, the team has started framing up the powder room and kitchenette - next up is joinery design.

We’ve reached out to another one of our trusted consultants, Claire from .au , to pull together the joinery design and cutting lists for the kitchenette.

Armed with the mood board and look‑and‑feel images created by CMY Designs, Claire has designed a practical little kitchenette with plenty of storage and two hidden fridges - the perfect setup for both our morning coffees and Friday arvo wines.

It’s all coming together, piece by piece. Can you tell the feminine energy has taken over upstairs… and are we here for it?
