Yesterday we had the privilidge to attend the Hotel Euramo's Boar and Barra Bash and see who took out the winning positions.

Lachlan Brady was extremely impressive in taking out both the biggest sow and aggregate weight divisions in which we donated a dog crate for the aggregate weight winner.

Ollie and her Team at the 'Mo put on a great weekend and it was especially exciting to see all the kids involved in such a great weekend.

Olenka Muzic's dedication to the community is like no other, and we appreciate everything she does for the region! So next time you are looking for an arvo out, go check out the Hotel Euramo where you will get great service, cold beer, good food and no doubt see what other organisations she is helping with raffles, events etc.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

AK Metal Fabrications is on the move… again… but this time, it’s for good!

From 5 May 2026, we will officially be operating from Innisfail — yep, that’s right, we’ve moved south.

With a prime new location, more space, and expanded capabilities, this next chapter is a big one for us. While the address may have changed, the same faces, same values, and same commitment to quality remain.

We’ll still be proudly servicing both new and existing clients, from the Cape right through to Regional Queensland.

We’re still putting the final touches in place (signage), but we’d love for you to drop by, say g’day, and check out what AK Metal Fabrications is now capable of.

Boilermaker – Short-Term Opportunity (Tully)

We’re looking for an experienced Boilermakers for a short-term role in Tully, with the potential for extension.

Requirements:
- White Card
- Working at Heights (current within 2 years)
- Confined Space (current within 2 years)
- HRWL – Forklift, EWP & Do***ng advantageous
- Sugar Mill experience preferred
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical, including Drug & Alcohol test
