Demolition has begun at Casa Kinn.

It’s not just about knocking walls down, there’s a whole process before we get to the good part. From asbestos clearance to recycling, internal demolition first, then finally the big external demo. More to come as this one unfolds.

You see a D-shaped window. We see the detail behind it.

Working with over 9,000 bricks 😅 , each one had to be perfectly positioned to carry that curve through. Around the D, every piece was marked and cut to keep a consistent 10mm joint the whole way around. That’s what it takes to get a finish like this.
