Connor Mayes...
Where do I even begin?

Connor has been working at Yak Electrical for four years. I used to train with his mum, Vicki, at Reborn Gym. One day, she asked me if I’d consider helping Connor with his apprenticeship, so I did.
This kid has a heart of gold. He’d do anything for anyone. He quickly became everyone’s favourite bloke. His interesting life perspectives and dry, witty humour would leave everyone laughing and saying the same thing. There’s only one Connor Mayes.
During his time with us, he had some setbacks at TAFE and was finding it quite hard after a few failed exams. But he didn’t wallow in self-pity. He asked for help from TAFE, and just like at work, the teachers there loved the kid. They gave up their time to help him, and he put in the hard work for years to achieve something that himself and his family should be very proud of: he completed his electrical apprenticeship!
Your mum and dad have done a fantastic job in raising you.

Connor has received a very good opportunity at another company. While it breaks our heart that he’s leaving, he will always be a part of Yak and have a special place in all of our hearts.

I love you, mate. Whatever you need, I’ll be here for you. Call me whenever you need.
