CPE Construction have been engaged by the Moira Shire Council to complete an upgrade on the Yarrawonga Town Hall as part of a fire separation package,
Installation of structural steel 10m above the stage on a heritage listed building certainly provided its challenges during the planning phase of the project.
The work included temporary propping of the stage, installation of scaffold, structural steel installation, and fire rated plaster installation.
The works have been completed on time, and we thank our trusted subcontractors (GMCE, CGC Site Services, Victorian Scaffold Services, and Bondpro) that assisted us in delivering this project.

CPE Construction were proud to be engaged by PowerNet (now Ventia) in 2025 to construct the new Control Room at the Shepparton Terminal Station.

Delivered within a live substation environment, this project presented unique challenges, including working safely beneath 220kV overhead powerlines, requiring careful planning, strict safety protocols, and close coordination across all teams.
This outcome reflects our capability in delivering complex infrastructure for critical network operations, with safety and quality at the forefront.

A big thank you to our trusted subcontractors Bell Earthmoving, Kialla Plumbing, CM Concreting, Bondpro, and all others involved. Your expertise and collaboration were essential in bringing this project to life.

We’re proud to contribute to infrastructure that supports the region’s energy network.

Cobram Secondary College is proud to have a host of students out on Work Experience this week, gaining valuable real-world industry experience and exploring future career pathways.

A huge thank you to the many local businesses and organisations supporting our students by welcoming them into their workplaces. These opportunities play an important role in helping students make informed subject selections in Years 9 and 10, while also guiding decisions around VCE and VM pathways that align with their interests, strengths and future career goals.

Elliott Dunbar has been completing his placement with CPE Construction this week. With a keen interest in pursuing a career as a welder, Elliott was excited to experience working in a factory environment and gain insight into the industry firsthand.

Thank you to Elliott and all of our students for representing the College so well, and to our community businesses for helping inspire the workforce of tomorrow.
