Every great space starts with an idea.

Meet Malcolm, one of the designers helping bring our clients' visions to life at Associated Projects.

Malcolm's passion for architecture began early, from studying graphic design, photography and construction through school, to travelling through Europe and experiencing some of the world's most iconic buildings firsthand.

Today, he helps transform concepts into practical, functional and memorable commercial spaces across hospitality, education, retail and workplace environments.

His design philosophy?
"Form follows function."

It's a simple principle that guides every project, ensuring spaces don't just look great, but work exactly as they're intended to.

It’s about how it performs. The difference shows up quickly, especially in complex environments.Take projects like Five Iron Golf’s Australian launch.

The challenge wasn’t creating a strong design. That already existed.
