🚨 Ever seen an Airtrack used like this? 🚨

When we saw this converted air track with it's drill rig swapped for forks/winch, we knew it was the answer to a persistent underground challenge - space (or lack thereof). Petts Mclean Industries have integrated this asset into our hire fleet to assist underground operations with a few issues:

🛢️ Longwall tailgate logistics - Instead of manual handling or where LHD use is restricted, we can now use this to safety manoeuvre items when space around "Tin Can" supports is limited

🚚 Belt road access - Bulk roller change outs have always been a manual handling hazard. This unit allows a pallet of rollers to be delivered directly to the work area. Furthermore, the air tracks stable platform and power can be utilised to assist in the precise lifting & positioning of the belt itself

💡 Beyond moving supplies through tight spots underground, imagine this fitted with a high volume water cannon for efficient under belt cleaning. All existing air track articulation functions are available for use

Its potential is limited only by your imagination, and we're ready to collaborate on adapting this robust asset to solve your unique challenge.

The conclusion of last year was quite hectic for Petts Mclean Industries, and the beginning of this year has proven to be equally busy.

It is time for an update on several ongoing projects.

NIB01 is currently assisting a customer carrying out some precision trimming around life of mine water pipes and cables. With NIB01's reach, it is the right tool for this task.

NIB02 is ready for paint & is scheduled to be dispatched within the next week to assist a local pit in refining some corners. This effort will ensure that their miner is able to remain focused on coal extraction.

RB01 has been finalized and is now in the process of hydraulic testing, with hire availability expected in the coming weeks.

AMM Product Development has once more played a crucial role in these implements.

As an improvement from the initial design, we have purchased a rock breaker and will be adapting this to fit onto the front of both Jib Cutters. This will allow a quick swap out between rock breaker and Jib cutter.

Nibbler Update: Over the last few weeks, our Jib Cutter has been going strong for a local customer. They have conveyed how impressed they are with its performance and it has allowed them to keep their production miners on coal, while NIB01 does the tough but essential work Outbye. They were nice enough to provide us with some pictures of NIB01 in action.

Introducing the “Nibbler”. This beast has been designed, engineered and built to excel in the toughest underground conditions. We are all very pleased with the finished product and it’s heading straight out on its first hire. Massive thanks to Alex Jones and the team at AMM Product Development for all the assistance throughout the build. Paint job has come up a treat thanks to the team at Gazbek Industries.
