From a machinery shed, to a lean-to extension, to a chemical storage shed, Damien Stewart’s project evolved around the practical needs of the farm.

What stood out most to him was not just the final result, but how easy the process felt along the way.

“It was just a really easy process to put this up… and clearly the quality of the build they do, I think is one of the best there is.”

That kind of feedback means a lot especially when it comes from a client expanding existing infrastructure and looking for a result that works seamlessly with what is already there.

April Ag Inform is live!

Diesel and fertiliser uncertainty is creating real concern for WA farmers — and if cost pressure continues, it can have a ripple effect across the supply chain (including ag sheds). If you’re already thinking about a new shed for 2026, locking in pricing earlier may help reduce uncertainty and give you more confidence in planning.

🚜 Featured sheds this month:

📍 Dongolocking – Russell Roberts’ 44 x 24 x 9.3m multipurpose shed, split into three purpose-built zones (grain/fertiliser storage, machinery storage, and chemical storage with ventilation + bunded concrete and sump drainage).

📍 Koojan – Jaden Cocking’s 48 x 30 x 6.75m machinery shed, with a 16m girder truss for easier access and an open-front design that’s popular on farms for good reason.

📍 Bullaring – Michael Lee’s 32 x 21 x 6m machinery shed, keeping it simple and functional with 2 x 16m girder trusses along the opening for better access.

When your working yards are already in place, adding cover is all about making the setup more practical, without getting in the way.

Luke Bairstow from Arizona Farms (near Lake Grace) explains why they went with AUSPAN for a:
• 48m span stockyard cover
• Full cover over the working yards
• Cover over a couple of pens
• Shade through the summer months

One of the big benefits? The wide-span design keeps the yards nice and open, with the columns outside the main internal yard area.

Best of all, the family is very happy with the result, and the structure has been built so it can be extended in the future when the time is right.

Built once. Trusted twice.

When Damien Stewart needed to expand his operation north of Gnowangerup, he returned to AUSPAN.

After originally constructing a machinery shed, Damien has since added a large lean-to and a dedicated chemical/machinery shed extension - designed to integrate seamlessly with the existing structure. The result is a practical, well-aligned expansion that supports the evolving needs of his farming operation.

For Damien, the experience was just as important as the build itself. A straightforward process, clear communication, and a quality outcome delivered without fuss.

We’re grateful to Damien and his family for placing their trust in us again and for sharing their AUSPAN story.

AUSPAN Ag Inform – March Edition

March has us out on the road again, catching up with regional communities and showcasing more practical shed solutions built for WA farming operations.

In this month’s update, we’re:
• Heading to Albany for the 2026 Gate to Plate Challenge, including the Gate 2 Plate Schools Challenge, a great event that brings industry, community and the next generation together
• Stopping in Wandering to check out Peter Warburton’s new machinery shed.
• Travelling north to West Gutha to look at a recently completed tunnel shed for Ashley James.
• Finishing up in Borden, where Rory Vermeersch’s new grain and fertiliser shed is built to support efficient access and storage during the busy seasons ahead.

At AUSPAN, these road trips are about more than buildings. They’re about staying connected to the people, industries and regional communities that have shaped who we are.

Facilities that support emergency services must be designed for more than just operations; they must be ready when communities need them most.

At Marine Rescue Port Hedland, the new purpose-built facility delivers the space and capability required to coordinate marine emergency responses across the Pilbara.

With dedicated areas for radio operations, training, and volunteer coordination, the building now supports over 45 volunteers who play a critical role in keeping local waters safe.

For many years, the team operated out of 119-year-old building and temporary sea container facilities. This new development marks a significant step forward not only improving day-to-day operations, but strengthening the organisation’s ability to support the wider community.

Delivering facilities like this requires close coordination from planning through to handover, ensuring every element supports long-term operational readiness.

Long-term partnerships are built on performance.

Winton Nazzari farms 10 kilometres east of Tambellup, WA, running 5,200 hectares of Merino sheep, cereal crops, and Angus cattle in a family partnership.

When planning for greater feed security and the potential to lot feed in the future, he required infrastructure that would deliver both immediate flexibility and long-term capability.

An 18 x 12 x 9m Fodder Shed, constructed by AUSPAN, now provides:
• High-clearance internal tipping capacity
• Secure storage for pellets and supplementary feed
• Additional grain storage flexibility during harvest
• Operational breathing room to make informed marketing decisions

Having previously engaged AUSPAN in 2017 for shearing shed renovations, Winton returned based on experience, citing reputation, sound advice, punctual delivery, and the benefit of a dedicated Project Manager who understood the detail of his operation.

Hear from Winton on why reputation, punctuality, and quality mattered when investing in infrastructure for the future.

At AUSPAN, delivery is not an afterthought - it is integral to how we build.

Shown here is 1 of 2 new cage trailers recently added to our delivery fleet. Cage trailers play a key role in our logistics approach, keeping shed components separated and secure during transport to help protect materials from factory to site.

This trailer, supplied by Midland Pty Ltd, has been purpose-spec’d with air-bag suspension to reduce vibration and shock, along with a tri-axle configuration to improve load distribution and on-road stability - supporting safer transport and minimising movement during long regional deliveries.

All deliveries are managed by our internal team rather than subcontracted providers, giving us full control over safety, handling, and scheduling from factory to site.

This continued investment in our logistics capability reflects our focus on operational excellence and demonstrates our vertically integrated delivery model in action.
