Our first ever ETS TQ & Win!!!! 🥇🥹

I’m absolutely speechless, Daniel Anthes has given us our first EVER TQ & Win at an ETS! Taking the TQ spot and then winning the first 2 finals with a flawless drive with his SP1 Hara Edition in 21.5 Stock!

We’re still a small team at this massive event, but to come out on top is truly a testament to all the work done by our European team.

Antoine is also back in the A Main of Modified, which is a massive achievement, and a credit to our development and his hard work testing of late.

So proud of all of you! Fingers crossed for the rest of the mains for the whole RC MAKER team! 💪🏼

That’s a wrap on TITC 2026! 🎥

Another edition, possibly the craziest yet of TITC has come to a close. For me and many others it was roughly 12 days of intense testing, development and racing.

I brought some big updates with us this year that I’ve been working on the past 6-8 months at RC MAKER. A culmination of several races of testing with various elements all coming together for this race. This year I raced, so I could get my own feeling for the car and understand what the car is excelling or lacking in. Whilst it made me busy, it was absolutely the best idea, as it allowed me to help push us forward in a good way with the setup.

Changing track conditions are always the talk of TITC, and once again it was just that. One day you can have a great feeling and speed, and the next it can all be gone for no reason at all. It happens to the best, and probably the hardest thing about this race (coupled with the heat, competition and length). No team is immune, it’s basically all about who gets the car best in the window to handle all conditions, or who learns what needs to be changed to suit the conditions at any particular time.

Being the youngest and one of the smaller teams makes that part a bit tricky for us, but we all worked together really well by going in very different directions through practise to find a setup that was in the window in all conditions.

I believe it was Monday, when I had some pretty extreme ideas of raising the roll centre very high, coupled with very long upper links (mounted to the bulkhead) and very stiff oil. This might sound contradictory (making the car roll with long links and then preventing it with the high roll centre) however it worked very well! The long links took away the crazy initial traction, while the high roll centre still have the car agility and support in the corner.

Antoine and Jeff gravitated towards this and it became the basis of what we used through qualifying and finals with minor tweaks. In Q5 we went up in diff oil, which gave the car better forward traction while making it rounder in the corners… and turned out to be a great change. Whilst I unfortunately got crashed out by another driver rejoining the track, Antoine and Jeff both had very strong runs, with Antoine posting a 5 minute time only 5 seconds off Michal Orlowski. This is the closest we have ever been and whilst it was “only” a Top 20 run on paper, it felt like a big win for us with the major updates! Antoine finished up 23rd, me in 34th and Jeff in 38th. Sounds underwhelming, I know. But considering the level of competition, im really satisfied with this with very limited track time with the updates!

Open Brushless brought many surprises that became some of the biggest highlights for the event. Shinya put in a blistering first few qualifiers with the updated chassis, that landed him 5th on the grid for the A Main, and our Aussie boy Lincoln kept his tyres for later in Qualifying and drove superbly to land in 7th on the grid with his SP1! First TITC for Shinya and 2nd TITC for Lincoln, what an amazing result for them. Whilst Shinya had some tough luck in finals, he still posted the fastest lap of all 3 A Finals with a stonking 14.687! Lincoln drove 3 epic finals, and despite an epic A2 start which ended in tears, came home for 6th overall!! Couldn’t be prouder of this kid and the work he’s put in over the last year to get to this point. Shout out to Logan Rintoul - RC Driver on 39th overall in his first ever international race!

Non Boost, we once again snuck some A Mains with Shunsuke Mori in 8th and Luke Watson in 9th with their SP1’s. After all was said and done, Shunsuke finished up in 5th while Luke got 10th overall, an absolutely awesome result by both of these guys, working relentlessly to perfect every detail in this hotly contested class!

I’m honestly very proud of these results, as they show such an improvement from our first year last year. For such a young team, I feel we are getting much closer to the top every time out, and the chassis updates are bringing an even higher level of performance and durability.

As for INOV8 RC, it was my first international event with our new brand in the market. I’m honestly blown away by the support from both our customers and pro drivers. Over 50% of the Modified and Open Brushless A Mains were using our body accessories which is phenomenal. The 2 time TITC champ Michal Orlowski has a lot of praise for our body mount system and body stiffeners, and since switching to them 2 years ago, has never taken them off. Most recently he switched from the Duo Stiffner to the Tetra, like many others this year, to handle the brutal on track conditions. I’m very proud of how far we’ve come in such a short time, and want to send a huge thankyou to our customers and drivers for all of this support!

Lastly a small word on my racing. I have missed racing quite a bit over the last year, and felt I would be more beneficial to the team being on track than off. I think this was absolutely the right decision, as being able to feel the car rather than just watch really helped me to understand better what direction to take which helped us all! Whilst I was a bit rusty through practise, once the race started I was feeling comfortable again and really enjoying driving the updated car. I stayed on 4 wheels in all qualifiers and finals, just had a bit of bad luck in some of the runs with other cars, and one random seized bearing 🙈 Overall I finished in 34th, which I’ll absolutely take after my time off. I’m looking forward to putting more time in on track this year and seeing what I can do again next year at this awesome race. Besides the results, I just have a lot of pleasure driving a car I have designed and am developing with my team. No matter the result on track, I feel like I’ve already won 🥹

Thanks to the whole team for their giant effort this past 2 weeks. In 5 weeks time, we head to China for the IFMAR World Championships where we will once again put everything to the test against the best in the world. We are ready for the challenge and looking forward to learning more and more!

Thanks everyone for all your support 💪🏼

We got 4 RC MAKER cars in the A Mains at TITC 2026!! 🤯

What a day, whilst we have worked so hard for this, to actually achieve these results against the fastest teams and drivers in the world still feels surreal 🥹

So proud of these 4 guys, and the rest of the team that have worked hard to get us to this point!

Modified we made some awesome progress and we are closer than ever to the top. The competition is insane this year, but to be 5 seconds off the fastest guys in the world like Antoine Brunet was in Q5, we will take it as a big win!

Mains are stacked with INOV8 RC drivers so we’re hoping to take home the wins in both classes tomorrow! 🙏🏻

Mains to come tomorrow, wish us luck! 🏁

After a week of practice, it’s time to get down to business here at TITC 2026! 🇹🇭

It’s been a lot of fun to be back behind the wheel for the first time in a while. Started off feeling very rusty but run by run the feeling came back and I’m feeling pretty good on track!

We brought some big updates to this race for the RC MAKER SP1 platform which have been working really well. The car is responding very well to changes and we are learning a huge amount in this short time. Always nice having the fastest drivers and teams to compare to every time you hit the track! It’s also a great opportunity to test ahead of the upcoming World Championship in 5 weeks time.

Whole team is working well together across Modified, Open Brushless and Non Boost classes and we’re looking forward to getting into it!

Also awesome to see so many INOV8 Products in the pits. The tetra stiffener is the stiffener of choice for majority of racers providing great rigidity on this high speed track. The body mounts are also on board some of the fastest cars here from the likes of Orlowski & Rheinard and plenty more! Any racers wanting to get a hold of these at the track, they’re available from the FRC shop! 👌🏻

Now the days are a bit slower paced, I’ll do my best to provide some more updates as we finish seeding and head into qualifying! Follow all the action at RC Racing TV and RC Race Media! 🎥

Let’s go! 💪🏼

Here they are! We’ve been working hard on the details!

Our new turnbuckle upper arms are now ready, and to boot we’ve also produced some new polished female ball studs in 4.8mm for the upper and 5.0mm for the lower suspension. We’ve found the polished ball studs to reduce friction and wear, and provide smoother suspension travel when under load. Because of the reduced friction, there is also less wear on the balls and cups in all instances!

A few things to note:

🔹The 5.0mm ball studs are 0.5mm lower than the standard ones, so you must add an additional 0.5mm to match your existing roll centre

🔹 These ball studs can also be used on the top and bottom of the outer hub, when installed with a grub screw.

🔹 When changing over the ball studs on the lower arms, we suggest starting with some brand new 3026A cups. Removing the old and installing the new ones can often lead to damage, so refreshing both is a great preventative measure. If you have forgotten the installation process for the 3026A cups, just refer to our video put together by Jeff Hamon on the RC MAKER Facebook or YouTube channel!

I hope you guys enjoy the new parts and please do let me know if you have any questions!

Some cool new stuff I’ve been working on for INOV8 RC over the past few months! As usual trying to do things differently where I can, to keep pushing the bar higher! Thanks to everyone behind the scenes who have been a part of the development journey!

I definitely get a kick out of doing stuff that hasn’t been done before, a few of which are below! Hope you guys like it, and let me know if there’s anything you want to see next, or if you have any questions about any of the new releases 😎

Thankyou Hobbywing Technology for this great opportunity! After taking the past year off and being very inconsistently racing the past few years before that due to my workload, it's great to be a part of the team again. I'm planning a lot more laps and events again this year and into the future!

It's also awesome to see young up and coming RC MAKER Driver Damon Davis-Perry be recruited onto the team. I've been a big fan of this kid (well maybe not a kid anymore) since we picked him up many years ago as an Awesomatix driver, and now as an RC MAKER driver. He's worked very hard for this opportunity and im proud to drive alongside him for Hobbywing!

Right now things are beyond hectic, but we are preparing the foundations for a big year ahead! 😎

First stop, TITC in a few weeks! 🇹🇭

Awesome idea by Simon Lauter! Great to see Oscar giving our awesome hobby some great global exposure like it deserves. I was lucky enough to be a part of Oscar Piastri short R/C Career growing up. It was pretty obvious early on that he had an insane natural talent, he would take advice and instantly translate it on the track, and became really fast before he stopped. A talent that he's gone on to do the unimaginable with! 🇦🇺

Thanks to Antoine Brunet for making this for me. I still haven't figured out this AI stuff 😂

Our 2nd Australian nationals in the books with the RC MAKER SP1 and the first for the INOV8 RC brand and drivers.

It was a busy but great week over in Perth for the Nationals! We came in relatively prepared, with some of our drivers attending the WA Titles at the same track a few months earlier.

We started off expecting the 1.5mm Aluminium Chassis to be the go in all classes, but fairly quickly saw that the track and car was preferring the carbon chassis, especially in the faster classes. The track is pretty flowing with the car under huge loads at most points around the track. Combine that with a lot of bumps, and the dampening nature of the carbon chassis just seemed to provide the best balance of speed and consistency in the faster classes.

In the end a pretty normal setup worked for all of us in all classes, we went with a slightly higher roll centre and heavier shock oil than normal to keep the car flatter, with so many on power and high load corners. Stiffer anti-roll bars and harder springs, plus higher ride height and more droop for all the bumps!

There was some rough qualifying for Jeff Hamon and Lincoln Codd after various mistakes and misfortunes, but coming from 6th in Quali to 2nd overall for Jeff in Mod, and 10th to 3rd in 13.5 for Lincoln were some real highlights... and showed once again why you never give up!

Jeffrey Mackie and Damon Davis-Perry's drives in A3 were spectacular, chasing down Nicholas Lee to try and pass him to give Jeff Hamon the overall. Obviously driving for themselves, but fueled even more by the motivation to help their team mate win the overall title. They may not have achieved it with Nicholas holding them off brilliantly, but they showed what real team work is all about! Both these guys are super fast, and really looking forward to seeing them go for it next year!

Logan Rintoul, this kid has been on fire all year! Winning almost everything he's entered and putting the icing on the cake with his first Nationals Win! Amazing job and can't wait to see how Logan progresses from here!

Local hero Chris Mitchell got the SP1-F FWD on the podium after some nail biting finals!! He also stuck into 5th in the A Main in 13.5 which is an awesome result for him after not racing much the past 12 months!

Lastly to our team, I honestly couldn't choose a better group of people to learn and work with! As usual, everyone worked flawlessly to help each-other throughout the weekend, and I couldn't be prouder of how we all look out for each-other on and off the track! In a hobby where its every man for himself, you really wouldn't know it within our team! Full transparency and support at all times... no matter what the cost.

A national title, three podiums and many learnings and laughs later, we'll take that! One more race to go which is the NSW Titles re-run in December. I unfortunately won't be attending, however, I wish the rest of the team the best of luck wrapping up what has been an extremely successful first year of SP1 in Australia!

It's awesome to see so many INOV8 RC products in the pits already, with so many drivers choosing our body mounts and stiffeners in all classes! There's so much more in store, and I truly cant wait to release everything!

Time to start gearing up for a huge 2026! After attending all these events in 2025 and putting my mechanic skills to the test, I have to say my fingers are getting a bit itchy... it might just be time to jump back behind the M17 next year 👀

Thankyou all!✌️

There's been a lot happening behind the scenes lately, one of which i'm very excited to share!!

🔷🔷🔷 The launch of my new brand INOV8! 🔷🔷🔷

As most of you know, for most of it's life so far, RC MAKER was an accessories and option parts brand. Since the release of the SP1 and SP1-F, we have only really been able to focus on the cars and their development which has put a massive hold on the accessories and option parts side of the brand.

It's crazy to think its been 7 years already since the beginning of RC MAKER, and obviously the direction of the business has changed substantially since I achieved my dream of designing and producing my own car.

Earlier this year, I realised how much I still enjoy designing cool accessories and option parts for other brands of car too. In doing this, I also learn a lot about what other brands are doing, which helps me to gain further knowledge and understanding for the development of my own cars.

INOV8 feels like a full circle, as I go back to my roots of designing cool accessories and option parts for racers. This brand allows me full freedom in design and production, as the process of the SP1 and SP1-F design and production has definitely taken my skills, ideas and manufacturing possibilities to new heights.

As we make this transition, you'll notice stock depleting on RC MAKER Accessories and Options.
So if there's something you've had your eye on, I'd grab it now! From this point on, everything we produce that is not SP1/SP1-F related will be released under INOV8!

It's only thanks to everyone who has supported me and RC MAKER over the years that this is possible! I really can't wait to get to work on continuing the INOV8 line alongside the car development.

Stock will be landing at distributors and dealers very shortly!
