Huge thanks to SA Water for the opportunity to deliver this significant infrastructure upgrade — a $5.8 million investment securing water reliability for more than 3,000 homes and businesses across the Lower Murraylands, Mallee and Upper South East.

A massive shout-out to our FCC team — Greg Rohde (Construction Manager), Peter Harmon (Supervisor) and Muhammad Alamdar (Project Engineer) — for their outstanding leadership and teamwork in bringing this complex project home safely and efficiently.

From refurbishing original 1973 valves to installing new assets and chambers across 132 kilometres of pipeline, the team demonstrated the precision, coordination and pride that defines Fleurieu Civil.

🎉 Celebrating Two Huge Milestones for Rohde 🎉

This week we not only wish our Construction Manager, Greg Rohde, a happy 40th birthday, but also congratulate him on an incredible 15 years with Fleurieu Civil.

From starting out on the tools, stepping into Supervisor, and now leading as Construction Manager, Greg’s journey has been nothing short of inspiring. His commitment and capability in delivering SA Water infrastructure has been a cornerstone in ensuring Fleurieu Civil retains and grows the frameworks we hold today.
Greg is not just a highly skilled leader who consistently delivers, but also an absolute gentleman of a bloke—a teammate and leader we’re proud to have on our side.

Congratulations Greg on 15 years of outstanding contribution, we wouldn't be where we are without you mate.

Fleurieu Civil is proud to share that we have been formally appointed by SA Water to provide Under Pressure Tapping services.

This appointment reflects the dedication of our team to delivering safe, high-quality and reliable services to the water industry. Under Pressure Tapping is a critical capability that allows for efficient works on live water networks without interruption to supply — ensuring minimal disruption to communities and businesses.

We’re looking forward to working closely with SA Water and continuing to support essential infrastructure projects across South Australia.

Bruce has finally called it a day! After years of laying more pipe than the entire plumbing industry combined, he’s finally retiring.
No more trench talk, no more dodging excavators — just beers, naps, and pretending his back doesn’t still hurt or Johnno isn't going to touch him in the trench.
Last night we raised a glass to the bloke who’s laid more pipe than Telstra — enjoy retirement, Bruce! You bloody earned it buddy

Farewell to Two FCC Legends! 💛

This week we said goodbye to Nick & Heather as they both clocked off for the last time and rolled into retirement.

Heather kept the books in order and the crew in line – always with a smile (and maybe an eye roll or two). Probably caused by Nick or Adam 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

And Nick… well, he kept the truck moving and the smoko banter strong. We’re still not sure how he got away with half the things he said 😂

We’ll miss you both more than you know. Thanks for everything – enjoy the sleep-ins, no emails, and freedom from job sheets forever!

Shining the spotlight on one of our rising stars at Fleurieu Civil – Georgia Munro.

At just 19 years old, Georgia has packed more into 4 months than some do in a year. Starting with us through labour hire, she’s since made the full-time leap into the FCC crew and hasn’t looked back. 💪

From early days on the vac truck to jumping into poly welding, she’s taken on every challenge with grit and a grin – including a solo job with a TA at Inkerman and even welding up north at the GF warehouse in Brisbane.

Not one to sit still, Georgia’s also been hands-on with:

Laying pavers and prepping sites

Rolling out lawns and building sleeper walls

Installing concrete channels

And now earning her stripes in the digger, guided by our own Darren.

She’s nailed her poly tickets, excavator cert, and proven herself every step of the way – pulling her weight, keeping pace with the crew, and always hunting down the next skill to master.

Georgia – your attitude, work ethic, and hunger to learn make you a pleasure to have on site and a real asset to FCC. You’ve earned every bit of this praise.
