Commission piece,
This sentimental piece needed some love, We wanted to retain its classic aged look but also save it from the ravages of time, fully stripped, ultrasonic cleaned , new stabilised aussie hardwood scales sharpened and polished
Should be good for the next few generations now!
I love bringing these old girls back to life to tell more stories
Sure, you can remove all the pitting etc but I think you remove the charm and history too!

Completion of a privately commission piece.
A request for a blade to be set with deer antler handle as a modified modern twist to a Scottish Sgian-dubh to honour a family history.
A hand forged damascus double edged dagger & turned brass hilt with inlay of stunning natural Peridot. The flower of the antler handle is filled with Scottish heather set in clear resin.
The piece is safely kept in a handmade timber case inset with Clan Gunn Modern tartan and finished with detailed brass fittings.
