It was a privilege to welcome senior representatives of the Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation to Yara Pilbara for a tour of our operations.
The visit provided an important opportunity to share more about our facilities, discuss our activities on Murujuga and, most importantly, listen to the perspectives and knowledge of the Traditional Custodians of this remarkable place.
Yara deeply values its relationship with MAC and is committed to continuing to build that as we work together into the future.

Yara Pilbara is proud to be participating in the Science STEAM Festival as part of National Science Week 2026.

Visit our interactive stall at Karratha Senior High School to meet members of our Environmental & Sustainability team and discover how science, innovation and sustainability help shape a better future.

As we celebrate this year's theme, Seeds of Science: Nurturing Knowledge for All, we look forward to engaging with students, families and the wider community through hands-on learning and exploration.

The Net Zero Economy Authority (NZEA) and the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) play an important role in policy development and implementation for Australia's energy transition. So, it was great to see them in the Pilbara and at our operations to learn more about what we do, the value we add and the challenges facing manufacturers.

This year's Pilbara Summit again attracted a strong showing of government leaders and policy makers, among them Australia's inaugural Ambassador for First Nations People Justin Mohamed. Ambassador Mohamed along with team members from the Dept of Foreign Affairs and Trade were welcome visitors to our operations and interested to learn more about our strong local presence and relationships.

The Pilbara Summit is a major annual conference providing a forum for thought leadership and conversations on the critical issues facing the region. Our COO Laurent was again a key speaker providing insights on the importance of local manufacturing and the challenges Australia faces to maintain and build supply chain resilience.

This week, we are celebrating NAIDOC Week and recognising 50 Years of Deadly, highlighting the rich cultures, histories, resilience, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The 2026 theme, "50 Years of Deadly," celebrates five decades of strength, resilience and achievements of First Nations peoples. It honours the Elders, leaders, artists, communities and advocates who have shaped the journey, while acknowledging the next generation who will continue to lead with pride, culture, and purpose.

At Yara Pilbara, we acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we live and operate, and we recognise the contributions that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples make to our workplace, our communities and our nation.
