I'm super proud of this project. A good mate asked if I think I'd be able to 3D print a collection of cue lathe collets for his cue making. These will allow him to clamp a cue in his lathe, without clamping directly on to the wood. It took a lot of designing and testing and the end result is not only really functional, but it looks great too. Each of the 29 collets have a PETG outer shell for strength and a soft TPU centre which also provides grip. They increase in size from 7mm to 14mm in 0.25mm increments. Knowing that he uses the Milwaukee packout system, I modelled the tray to fit the compact packout organiser.
