Doubleview Privacy Louvre Screens

Imagine waking up, walking straight out from your bedroom and having your morning coffee here.

That was the idea behind this new balcony — but privacy from the neighbours was a problem, and completely blocking the view would have ruined the whole space.

So we went with our privacy louvre design, giving around 25% visibility. Enough privacy to actually enjoy the balcony, while still keeping the light, fresh air and outlook.

Finished in Monument Matt, and the final result came together beautifully.

The client was absolutely over the moon with it — and we can see why.

Four years old — and already being replaced.

At Waterfront Cottesloe, the existing gate had caused problems from day one. It simply wasn’t built for the level of daily traffic this property demands.

But reliability wasn’t the only issue.

The open area beside the gate created an easy climbing point into the property, so replacing the gate alone wasn’t enough.

We redesigned the entire entrance with a heavy-duty pedestrian gate, 25x50 aluminium battens and a custom free-standing overhanging panel that closes the vulnerable access point while maintaining the architectural appearance of the building.

Finished in Pearl Metallic Bronze.

This is a job we’re prepared to stand behind — 10-year warranty on our materials and installation.

A gate should not just look good on installation day. It should be designed for the traffic, security and conditions it will face for years to come.
