Front Yard Landscape | Structured, Layered & Built to Perform 🌿
This project was designed around clarity of form, healthy growth, and long-term performance.
The lawn area was finished with Palmetto buffalo turf, selected for its deep green colour, soft leaf, and excellent wear tolerance — ideal for a front yard that’s meant to be used while still presenting at a premium level.
Garden beds are defined with Straightcurve weathering steel edging, creating clean, flowing lines that frame the turf and planting while naturally developing a rich patina over time. The steel provides crisp separation and structural definition without overpowering the space.
An automated Hunter reticulation system was installed throughout to ensure efficient, even water delivery and long-term plant health — an essential foundation often overlooked in front yard landscapes.
Planting was carefully layered to create depth and canopy:
• Crepe Myrtle and Acacia ‘Limelight’ provide height and filtered canopy
• Rhaphiolepis ‘Apple Blossom’ adds mid-storey structure and seasonal colour
• Mondo grass anchors the base layer, softening edges and tying everything together
The result is a front yard that feels open yet grounded — structured without being rigid, and designed to mature beautifully over time.
A considered landscape, built properly from the ground up.
