🚧 ANOTHER PROJECT COMPLETED!.

These before & afters show the difference a properly shaped and freshly gravelled road can make transforming a worn, uneven surface into a tidy, well defined approach to the property.

For this project, we cut, reshaped and placed fresh 37.5mm main road spec gravel followed by compaction and water management to create a more consistent running surface and a clean finish that follows through surrounding landscape.

🚧 130+ TONNES DOWN… AND WE’RE ONLY JUST GETTING STARTED! 💪

Another productive day on the job in Bridgetown, with our road construction project starting to take shape!

With the subgrade layer now completed, today was all about getting material on the ground and progressing into the next stage of construction.

🚛 Over 130 tonnes of 37.5mm certified Main Roads specification gravel carted to site today, ready for the road's subbase layer.

With an estimated 540 tonnes of gravel cartage required for this project, there's still plenty of work ahead of us!

From preparing the formation and managing challenging ground conditions to carting, placing and compacting quality road building materials, every stage plays a critical role in delivering a road that's built to last.

The Cat 14H grader and Mack tipper have certainly been earning their keep!

Plenty more gravel to come, but we're off to a solid start! Stay tuned as this one progresses. 🚜

🚧 BIG ROCKS, BIG MACHINES & A FEW UNEXPECTED CHALLENGES! 😬👌🏼

Road construction is well underway in Bridgetown, WA, and today's first cut certainly kept us on our toes! 😅

What looked like a straightforward road formation quickly turned into a challenge when we uncovered multiple massive oversized rocks buried beneath the surface.

🪨 Too big to simply grade around, these stubborn rocks required an excavator to dig them out before we could continue preparing the road for gravel sheeting.

With the CAT 14H grader on site, we're working through the challenges to establish a solid road formation, ensuring the finished product is built for durability, drainage and long term performance.

Throw in a sunny but smoke filled day from nearby DBCA prescribed burns, and it's been an interesting day in the South West!

💪 Because building a road isn't just about spreading gravel it's about getting the foundations right.

More progress to come as we move towards the sheeting and final finishing stages!

Dense bracken, blackberry, regrowth and hazardous jarrah trees this property needed some serious attention ahead of bushfire season and prior to building establishment.

Ember Safe Earthmoving got to work clearing the overgrowth and removing tree hazards, helping the owners improve bushfire preparedness and make their property safer to manage.
