Beta-Value Homes provided Project Management and Building Services for the new build of this single storey weatherboard dwelling in Moonee Ponds.

The external design brief was to integrate with the beautiful heritage homes that this part of Moonee Ponds is well known for and pay respect to the original home that previously stood on the property. The ex*****on of this 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath home perfectly blends into the streetscape.

The 35-degree pitch roof with double gable, fretwork, bullnose veranda, rough-cast render and panelled front door completes the aesthetic. Completed in only 9 months, the owners have been thrilled with the results.

Natural Light floods the entry through lead light and stained-glass windows. The corridor is accentuated with feature cornice, ceiling roses, archway, and glass pendants. The naturally stained Tasmanian Oak flooring leads to
the open plan kitchen, living and dining space at the rear.

Panelled doors open into the three carpeted bedrooms all complete with built-in robes. The main bath is purposely oversized with a double shower, stone top vanity and premium fixtures. Tiles extend to the 3m ceiling on all walls
and the monochromatic palette provides a modern touch.

The master bedroom is located at the front of the home with timber casement windows allowing the morning light to flood through. The en-suite is also tiled to the raked ceiling.

The laundry provides access outside and plenty of storage including pull-down ladder to attic space.

The kitchen shines as a feature of the home with 2-pac panelled cabinetry in Dulux Lexicon Quarter and Stone benchtops. Tiled splashbacks, European appliances and built-in pantry ensure the space functions optimally.

Large 3.6m wide glass stacker doors open to the stained merbau decking Alfresco space. This home includes an underground 2500L rainwater tank.

Simple landscaping and white picket fence combined with the black and white tiled porch tie the home together and give it a distinct, fresh street appeal.

Clarendon Project is Complete 👏🏽 This project saw an extension and renovation creating a new ensuite, main bath/laundry, kitchen and courtyard with the living, dining and master bedroom getting a spruce up at the same time - clients are thrilled 🙌🏽
