Proud to see this project recognised as a finalist in the 2026 HIA Western Victoria Housing Awards - Specialised Housing category.

Completed in just 12 weeks, this home brought together innovative 3D concrete printing technology, thoughtful design and a dedicated team of trades, suppliers and project partners.

More than just a milestone for Dune, this project has shown us what 3D concrete printing can achieve at scale and the opportunities it can create for the future of construction.

What a weekend! 🎉

We opened the gates to our Horizon project, currently under construction, so our community could come see a 3D concrete printed home up close.

We had such a great turnout, thank you to everyone who came out, asked questions and met the team!

As we continue exploring the potential of 3D concrete printing, one of the most meaningful advancements is the use of a low-carbon concrete mix delivering at least a 30% carbon reduction.

This is about delivering real impact from the very first stage of construction.

These material efficiencies represent an important step toward lowering the impact of homebuilding without compromising quality, durability or design flexibility.

3D Concrete Printing is not about replacing the workforce. It’s about using it more effectively.
With a smaller, specialised team, we are able to achieve outcomes that would traditionally require a much larger workforce on site.

At a time where the industry continues to face ongoing trade and labour shortages, this creates an opportunity to do more with the resources available, while also opening the door to new roles and pathways within construction.

By improving efficiency and productivity, more projects can be delivered, supporting the broader needs of the industry.

Our sister construction company, Oasis Building Group Ballarat, is looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join our Ballarat team.
This role will work across a diverse pipeline of custom residential and medium-density projects, with the opportunity to also be involved in the continued growth of Dune Building Technologies and 3D concrete printed construction.

Innovation in 3D concrete printing isn’t just in the technology, the mix design behind it plays an equally important role.

Developing a mix that can flow through the printer, hold its shape and gain strength at the right rate is a complex challenge that goes beyond standard concrete. In collaboration, our technical teams have developed a specialised 50MPa concrete mix, purpose‑designed for this application.

Moving the industry away from mortar-based printing to concrete printing, represents a significant step forward for the industry, demonstrating how material innovation is actively shaping the future of construction.
