Renewable Energy Compliments of Holden

Vehicle manufacturing has sadly come to a stop in Australia, but it’s nice to know that such a huge production plant like Holden does not become a derelict, desolate and deserted depot, a white elephant. Renewable energy company Carnegie is installing solar panels on the roof to be able to supply electricity to the new tenant. It will be one of the largest of its type in the country. The solar cells will be linked to battery storage as well. The South Australian government thinks it’s a great idea and have backed it with a $3 million grant.
