DPF cleaning
If you’ve noticed that your vehicle is constantly doing Burn offs , less power and bad fuel economy and having to take it to the mechanic to do a force burn then chances are the DPF filter is full.
Burn offs are designed to clean out the soot that the DPF is designed to catch before it enters the atmosphere, but when the DPF goes into a “burn off” it burns the soot to ash. And the ash stays in the filter.
The usual thing to do at that stage is to replace the DPF , which will cost from anywhere from $2000 all the way up to $8000 depending on what vehicle you have.
I have an alternative which back flushes the DPF and cleans nearly 100% of the soot in the DPF and bring it back to original condition. And saving you thousands of dollars in the process .
I do DPF cleaning at AMAC mechanical in Narembeen which does car and small to medium truck DPFs. So for anyone in the wheatbelt area of Western Australia
Cost for a car/ute is $550 including GST to clean the DPF. (Not including removal and refitting and gaskets)
And $770 for small to medium truck DPFs ( same applies)
Then please ring AMAC or myself on 0457138564 - Austin
Or AMAC on 08 90648602.

Ever wondered why a car sometimes feels slow or unresponsive? The answer might be hidden in a small but crucial component: the fuel injector.
Think of fuel injectors as the perfume sprayers of your engine. For the engine to run smoothly, fuel must be delivered as a fine mist—not a heavy stream. That perfect spray helps the fuel mix properly with air, creating efficient combustion. 💧⚙️
Let’s look at the different injector spray patterns and what they mean:
🚫 1. Clogged Injector
Instead of a fine mist, you get a sad single stream. This usually happens because of dirt or carbon buildup inside the injector. The result? Weak acceleration, rough engine vibrations, and higher fuel consumption. 🐢💸
📉 2. Poor Spray Pattern
Here the spray becomes uneven and messy, often caused by wear or low fuel pressure. This can lead to higher temperatures inside the engine and increase the risk of engine “pinging” or detonation. ⚠️🌡️
✅ 3. Optimal Spray
This is what a healthy injector should look like—a beautiful, even mist. Perfect atomization improves efficiency, delivers stronger engine performance, and reduces harmful emissions. 🤩✨
💧 4. Dripping Injector
When injector seals wear out, fuel can leak and drip like a faulty faucet. This wastes fuel, may cause the engine to stall at traffic lights, and can even damage the catalytic converter—an expensive repair. 🚫🔧
When injectors are clean and working properly, your engine runs smoother, stronger, and more efficiently. Small components often make the biggest difference under the hood.
