KYORA by SABR. 9m wide, 52m long. This was a narrow, long site, and sites like these are unforgiving.
Natural light becomes hard to get into the middle of the home. The living spaces can feel like a never ending corridor. And if you do not solve those problems early, you end up with a finished home that looks fine from the outside but feels wrong the moment you walk in.
KYORA solved those problems from the outset.
The pool and olive tree courtyard were placed directly beside the dining area, with floor-to-ceiling glass between them. So instead of the narrow footprint blocking light and nature out, it pulls both straight into the heart of the home. One master suite sits downstairs, one upstairs. The length of the block that could have felt like a liability becomes the thing that gives sleeping and living genuine separation.
Before any site works began, the full project was built in 3D. Every construction risk identified. Every detail resolved. Nothing left to work out on site, where working things out costs time and money.
These images are from golden hour. The sunlight moving through the finished home is what happens when the hard thinking is done long before the first slab is poured.
