Our team in the factory has just wrapped up another batch of TRUECORE steel frames, now loaded and heading up to a townhouse project in Brisbane.

When frames are going interstate, getting it right the first time really matters. That’s why we take extra care in the factory, so what arrives on site fits properly and installs without issues. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to, and we’re proud of the work the team continues to turn out in the factory!

Our team at ISG Frames is currently delivering the façade framing package for a new residential development in Alphington, bringing the project’s standout architectural features to life. With its mix of angles, projections and feature elements, the build demands absolute accuracy from the framing stage through to cladding.

Another delivery of modular light gauge steel framing across state lines.

We design all modular systems in detailed 3D models and fabricate the TRUECORE steel framing in house at our factory in Pakenham in Victoria. Once complete, the frames are loaded onto trucks and delivered to New South Wales for installation on site for modular homes.

It is a demanding and precise process. If any frame is not right, it means another long truck delivery and delays on site. That is why we put so much focus into design and fabrication from the start, ensuring every frame fits and performs as intended with accurate, efficient assembly on site.

Modular homes are an ideal solution for regional and remote areas. They reduce on site labour requirements, shorten build times, minimise weather disruption and allow homes to arrive largely complete, ready for fast assembly. This helps deliver quality housing faster and with greater consistency for growing communities.

Project Completion: Aspire Mickleham Childcare Centre 💯

Big lifts and a bold design have marked the completion of our framing works for
Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten at Mickleham, part of the new Botanical Village town centre in Melbourne’s north.

This project stood out for its unique roof design, with every truss spliced for transport, assembled on the ground in modular sections, and craned into position. The approach ensured precision, efficiency and safety while bringing a challenging design to life.

In total, our team fabricated and installed nearly 20,000lm of TRUECORE steel across wall frames and roof trusses, creating a durable and reliable structure that will support this future-focused childcare centre for years to come.

This project shows how the right framing solutions can turn ambitious ideas into reality with precision and efficiency. We are excited to see this one come to life and even more excited to see the community make it their own! 🤩

The guys from Forever Bright Skylights and Carpentry did an amazing job in installing these frames . It was no ordinary frame install and they went above and beyond.

Big work happening at Mickleham as we crane in 13,000lm of modular trusses, one at a time!

Our team fabricated and installed nearly 20,000lm of TRUECORE steel frames along with the structural steel. The unique roof design meant every truss had to be spliced in half for transport. Each section was built on the ground in modules and lifted into place by a crane, delivering a safe and efficient solution to a complex design challenge.

Aspire Mickleham Childcare Centre is a purpose-built facility within the new Botanical Village shopping precinct, set to open in early 2026. With shops, local businesses and the Mickleham South Community Centre close by, it will provide families with a convenient childcare option.

It’s great to see more childcare centres adopting steel for safety and long-term performance, and we’re proud to contribute to the community at Mickleham 🤝

Project Completion: Cressy St, Malvern 🥳

Our Malvern project is now complete, delivering two architecturally designed double-storey duplexes that combine modern form with neighbourhood harmony.

We fabricated, supplied and installed the full steel framing package, from wall frames and floor steel to key structural steel. The design demanded precision, with a long, narrow footprint, cantilevered upper floors, wide spans without centre supports, and integration for large glazing panels.

The finished build blends seamlessly with the surrounding streetscape while introducing a fresh, contemporary edge. The main building fronts the street, with a smaller rear structure for storage, reflecting the lot layouts of the neighbourhood.

Despite tight access and the challenges of an inner-suburb site, our team delivered every stage on schedule, ensuring a smooth transition for finishing trades. The result is a robust, perfectly aligned steel frame that will support years of modern living!
