Concern for welfare – Howard Springs

Northern Territory Police have recovered a body in Gunn Point yesterday afternoon.

Just before 6:30pm, police received a call from a member of the public who located a white Mazda in the area.

Police began a search of the area and located the body, believed to be that of a missing 28-year-old woman.

Police, including forensics, remain at the scene.

Northern Territory Police hold concerns for the welfare of 28-year-old woman.

She was last seen around 4pm on Saturday 25 November 2023 on Hannibal Crescent, Grey.

She is described as 180cm tall, slim build, tattoos on left calf and right arm, with long brown hair.

She was believed to be wearing black denim shorts, long loose black shirt and black sneakers.

Police believe she may be in the Howard Springs Reserve area.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the woman are asked to contact police on 131 444.

Concern for welfare - Kakadu

Northern Territory Police hold concern for the welfare of 35-year-old Jessica Louise Stephens.

Ms Stephens is believed to have travelled to Kakadu National Park on Thursday 19 October and camped near Nourlangie Rock; however, she has not contacted her family since. Police have located her vehicle but yet to locate Jessica.

A land and aerial search operation is currently underway by police and Kakadu National Park Rangers.

Anyone who has sighted Ms Stephens or has information about her whereabouts is urged to contact police on 131 444. Please quote reference 10490265.
