Quick and easy repair and modification on a boat trailer today.
Cutting out some worn out excess steel ,tidying up the rear of the main rails where old steel was cut out then reinforcing the rear rails where roller guide posts will be mounted .
Will post more pics once the project is completed tomorrow.

Complete restoration and new lease of life given to this 6x4 trailer.
Unfortunately buying a trailer that is mass produced can save money but down the track will end up worse off.
I was shocked to find that the draw bars on this trailer were built from down graded steel and were both split the entire length of the seems.
Also the trailer had rusted out quite bad due to joins in the steel work not being sealed with a quality water proof sealant.
But this trailer now has a new 3’mm thick galvanised floor and a new rear tail gate and strengthened draw bar
