From an idea, to a drawing, to a world class vessel Cordina Marine are so proud to present "R100" for Fremantle Sea Rescue.

"R100" will be crewed by an amazing group of volunteers that take time out of their lives to help those using the sometimes unforgiving waters around the port of Fremantle

This 11.99m CAT (NSCV 2B) is powered by 2 x 600hp Volvo IPS engines (supplied by Ches Power Group CPG) that are not only stable in rough seas, she can race to a rescue at 34 knots and cruise comfortably 28 knots.

Fitted with the most advanced sea rescue equipment including Volvos unique Dynamic Positioning System, infrared search cameras, radar, advanced communication equipment and so much more this work boat is packed with the latest features.

A vessel like this doesn't just come to life on its own. It requires a talented team of welders, fabricators, engineers, painters, marine electricians(Windsor Electrical Contracting), graphic designers (Marine Wrapz), a very talented naval architect and raft of WA marine suppliers. For all those involved. Thank you and congratulations.

This vessel was manufactured in Western Australia at the Australian Marine Complex in Henderson.

Congratulations Mason Hughes for taking out the Cordina Marine Apprentice Olympics for the 1st half of 2025.

The boys are tasked to plan and execute a job (this time building workbenches) and judged on weld quality, safety, time and precision.

Mason wins an executive reserved car park for his efforts.

Training the next generation of boat builders, one weld at a time.

It has been an incredibly busy month... but we have arrived.

Our new premises at 11 Contest Link Henderson is well and truely up and running.

A big thank you to all that have popped by and given your support and encouragement. It has meant so much to us during this time. For those yet to come, the door is always open. We are excited to show you around our new facilities.

Shout out to Vulcan Engineering for their unique skills for moving all of our equipment and the new DFES Fremantle Sea Rescue 12m CAT to the new workshop. To Benerin for rewiring the shed to customise power to our specialist machinery. Thanks to Ben's team at Marshall Homes Pty Ltd for modifying the front door to fit the 12m Cat.

We are excited to unveil our new signage shortly care of Vinyl Wrapz.

This is another huge milestone in our ever growing business. Again we thank you for your support.

Cordina Marine had the honour of attending the vessel launch of "King George" in Wyndham on Thursday.

Our representative, Joe Cordina, was joined by Hon. Minister Stephen Dawson MLC, MLA Ms. Divina D'Anna, Shire of Wyndham East Kimberly Deputy Shire President Cr. Tony Chafer, and representatives from DFES and Marine Rescue volunteers. Cox Powertrain Ltd. distributor Rod Melrose from Power Equipment Pty Ltd was also present. The vessel "King George" will service the Ord River, Cambridge Gulf, and beyond in some of the most remote waters in WA, where reliability is paramount. We are grateful for our participation in this project and have gained valuable insights along the way.

A big thank you to Jeff Gooding and the East Kimberly Marine Rescue team for the invitation and the opportunity to build this unique vessel. It was a pleasure to work with you, and we hope to continue this partnership in the future.
