With the largest high-speed ferry fleet in the Aegean, Seajets operates an extensive Greek island network, helping to keep communities connected.

For more than 25 years we have supported Seajets through vessel manufacture and sustainment and last month representatives from our UK and Australia teams had the opportunity to visit Piraeus and spend time onboard the Seajets fleet. Building on the long-standing relationship, they spent the week onboard several vessels, reviewing fleet operations and exploring opportunities across Motion Control Systems (MCS), MARINELINK (IMACS), Power Management Systems (PMS), as well as broader sustainment initiatives.

The visit also provided the opportunity to strengthen our support network across Europe, which will allow us to provide enhanced support to Seajets, and our other customers that operate within the Mediterranean.

Most importantly, it was a valuable opportunity to spend time with the Seajets team, strengthen relationships, and better understand their future needs as the fleet continues to evolve. Seajets thank you for your hospitality, we look forward to continuing the partnership for many years to come.

represented our arrival in a new domain, and we capped off an important week with a visit to Henderson from Chief of Army LTGEN Susan Coyle AM CSC DSM and Head of Land Capability MAJGEN Kurt Brown CSC.

It was a privilege to show our distinguished guests the shipyard and nearby Common User Facility site, both of which will play a key role in the delivery of the landing craft projects, as well as meeting members of the skilled workforce we’re recruiting to build them.

We’re working in close partnership with Army and the Commonwealth to ensure the success of these transformational programs, enhancing Army’s littoral capability, reinforcing sovereign shipbuilding in Western Australia, and providing significant benefits to the local community and economy.

The Austal-led panel session moderated by Major General (Retired) Kathryn Toohey AM CSC was a highlight of day three at , exploring how our experience designing, constructing and sustaining world class maritime platforms helps us deliver integrated solutions for our customers.

The panel featured insights from our Chief Technology Officer Glenn Callow, General Manager Landing Craft Programs Samuel Forde, Head of Business Development Damien Barrow and Business Development Manager Sustainment Tom Hazel, with a strong focus on delivery of the Australian Army’s landing craft projects.

We’re grateful to all the stakeholders who visited the stand to learn more about us through the week, including the Finnish delegation and AmCham Australia on Thursday - and especially the many Army members who we’ve had the pleasure of engaging with.

Our team had the honour of welcoming Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence the Hon Richard Marles MP, Minister for Defence Industry the Hon Pat Conroy MP, Chief of Army Lieutenant General Susan Coyle AM, CSC, DSM, Premier of WA the Hon Roger Cook and the Hon Amber-Jade Sanderson MLA to our stand at today.

We're working in close partnership with the Commonwealth and WA Governments to create a world-class defence industry hub here in WA, including delivery of the Landing Craft Medium and Heavy projects for the Australian Army and the realisation of the Henderson Defence Precinct.

Day two also had a strong international focus, with guests including His Excellency the EU Ambassador to Australia, the Consul-General of Japan in WA and members of the visiting French delegation.

And a big thank you to all those who came to our stand as part of the Australian Defence Magazine Women’s Walk, we were glad to introduce you to our company, our shipbuilding programs and our people.

Land Forces 2026 is officially underway in Perth and we’re delighted to be showcasing our littoral capabilities at the event for the first time.

We started a day early, welcoming two groups of industry guests from Defence West and DefenceNT to Henderson yesterday, with a third group from Defence Queensland visiting this morning.

Given our operations in Darwin, Brisbane and Cairns, it was an opportunity to show them what we are doing here in WA, including the current defence vessels in build and the continuous shipbuilding future we’re now delivering in the west.

It was great to catch up with so many stakeholders from across Defence, Government and industry on day one of the show and we're looking to hosting more tomorrow - especially our international visitors.

Remember that members of our supply chain, sustainment, marketing and recruitment teams are available on stand 2L16 through the week to answer your questions and demonstrate the projects and technology giving our clients an integrated advantage in the littoral environment.
