🙌 Supporting NAIDOC Week Celebrations Across the Wheatbelt 🙌

Green Wind Renewables was pleased to be part of this year's NAIDOC Week celebrations across the Wheatbelt, sponsoring regional community events in Calingiri, Bindoon, Badgingarra and Moora.

We acknowledge and thank the Yued Aboriginal Corporation for its leadership in delivering this year's celebrations, along with the many volunteers, performers and community members who helped make the events such a success.

💚 Green Wind Proud to Support Heroes to Hub for a Second Year 💚

Heroes to Hub is a 26km fundraising run supporting the Royal Flying Doctor Service WA (RFDS), inspired by two young lives forever changed by the care and courage of the RFDS. This year’s event attracted more than 220 participants who ran, walked and rode to raise an incredible $133,877 for the RFDS!

Proudly supporting Heroes to Hub on this Saturday 11 July! 💚

Now it's time to honour and thank our incredible Gold Partners!

This year, we had 16 amazing businesses and organisations jump on board, with our two extra sparkly Gold Partners each generously donating $1,500.

Together, this page alone represents an incredible $17,000 towards our Heroes to Hub fundraising total for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Not only do these amazing businesses and services provide so much for our community every single day, they continue to give back with such generosity whenever they're asked. That kind of community spirit is something really special.

Many of these partners were involved last year and didn't question it for a second when we asked them to come back on board. That loyalty and support means more than you'll ever know.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Goldies! We can't wait to celebrate with you all at the finish line... hopefully with a nice cold one in hand! 🍻

• Hands-on practical tips for growing more fresh, contaminant-free food.
• Learn to create intensive, productive beds - beds where nutrients and water are consistently available to the plants, using recycled materials.
• Learn about growing media, propagation, seasonal selection and watering systems to ensure you have a bountiful, water efficient growing system.
• Discover the value of making and including nutrient and microbe rich compost into a successful productive beds for vegetables, herbs and trees.
**David has run these workshops over 80 times throughout Australia**

Green Wind’s Community Relations Director, Jill O’Brien and General Counsel, Andrew Dienhoff recently attended the Australian Institute of Energy (AIE) lunch in Perth, featuring WA Energy and Decarbonisation Minister Amber-Jade Sanderson.

The session provided valuable insights into Western Australia’s energy transition, including discussion around workforce readiness, regional opportunities and supporting communities through long-term industry transition.

Hay Bales Concert 2026 🎶

Green Wind Renewables was pleased to be part of the Hay Bales Concert held in Moora on Saturday 2 May 2026, bringing together the local community for a memorable evening of music and entertainment.

Originally postponed due to Cyclone Narelle, the concert was successfully reimagined and delivered highlighting the resilience and strong community spirit of the region. The concert featured more than 60 local performers, including school choirs, musicians and artists from Moora and the wider Wheatbelt area, who have spent months preparing! 💚

Green Wind Renewables was proud to sponsor the Juvenile Steer Ride event (14–U18) at the Mogumber New Year’s Eve (NYE) Rodeo, an event that once again showcased the strength, talent and spirit of the local community 💚

The Mogumber NYE Rodeo continues to be a much-anticipated fixture on the local calendar, bringing together families, competitors and spectators to celebrate rural traditions and community connection.

Green Wind Renewables extends its sincere thanks to the Mogumber Outback Club Inc. for organising another successful rodeo, and to the many volunteers whose hard work, time and dedication made the event possible 💚
