📹 ADDED SECURITY | PROFESSIONAL DASH CAM INSTALL

Another vehicle through the workshop, this time for a dash camera installation into a government fleet vehicle.

For fleet and operational vehicles, a quality dash cam can provide much more than footage of the occasional interesting moment on the road.

It can provide an additional layer of security and accountability, with recorded footage available to assist when reviewing incidents, accidents or other events involving the vehicle.

🛡️ DOES A BULLBAR ACTUALLY PROTECT YOUR 4WD?

A bullbar is one of the most recognisable 4WD upgrades — but there's a lot more to a quality bar than changing the look of your vehicle.

A properly designed bullbar can provide an additional layer of protection for the front of the vehicle, particularly when travelling through regional and remote areas where animal strikes are a genuine risk.

So what does it actually do?

💥 Front-end protection — Helps protect vulnerable components at the front of the vehicle during certain impacts.

🦘 Animal-strike protection — A major consideration for anyone regularly travelling country roads, particularly around dawn and dusk.

🔧 Accessory mounting — Provides a secure platform for equipment such as driving lights, light bars, antennas and winches.

🔋 HIDDEN 12V | N80 HILUX GR SPORT

Keeping it clean, practical and out of the way.

This N80 Hilux GR Sport came through Engineering Adventures for a lithium auxiliary battery setup mounted behind the rear seat, making use of otherwise wasted space while keeping the tub free for gear.

The system was set up with power outlets in the tub, giving the owner a convenient source of auxiliary power where it's actually needed without sacrificing valuable load space.

⛽ WHY UPGRADE TO A LONG-RANGE FUEL TANK?

If you're setting up your 4WD for touring, towing or travelling off the beaten track, extra fuel capacity can be one of the most practical upgrades you make.

A long-range tank can give you:

A fresh truck for one of our local tow operators came through the workshop for a communications upgrade, with a GME XRS-375 4WD Pack installed and ready to work.

For a tow truck that spends its days out on the road, reliable UHF communications are an important part of the setup — whether it’s communicating on-site, keeping in touch with other operators or staying aware of what’s happening around you.
