Bates Group Industries is looking for experienced Diesel Fitters/Mechanics for ongoing work across Central Queensland and the Bowen Basin.

We currently have opportunities available for both:
🔹 Permanent Full-Time Diesel Fitter
🔹 Diesel Fitter Subcontractor

✅ Competitive rates
✅ 7/7 day & night roster
✅ Paid travel
✅ Camp accommodation & meals provided
✅ Ute provided for full-time position
✅ Ongoing, long-term work

To be considered, applicants must have:
• Relevant Diesel Fitter/Mechanic trade qualification
• Current Standard 11
• Current Coal Board Medical
• Current driver's licence
• Previous mining experience
• Relevant insurances for subcontractors

We’re looking for reliable, experienced fitters who take pride in their work and are looking for a long-term opportunity with a family-owned and operated business.

A new chapter begins.

We're excited to announce that Bates Earthmoving has officially become Bates Group Industries.

Over the years, our business has continued to grow and evolve, and this new name better reflects who we are today and where we're headed in the future.

While our name has changed, the things that matter most haven't - we're still the same family-owned business committed to providing reliable, high-quality services and building strong relationships with our clients and industry partners.
