🌟 MEET THE TEAM – JOEL 🌟

This week, we’re introducing you to Joel, who has been an important part of the Rocky’s Solar team for an incredible 8 years! With full SAA Accreditation in both Grid Connected and Off Grid Solar & Storage Systems, Joel brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.

Joel is one of those people who consistently goes above and beyond. He takes great pride in his work, is always willing to help, and has an incredible ability to find solutions and make sure our customers get the answers and support they need.

If you’ve had a solar or battery system installed by Rocky’s, there’s a good chance you’ve crossed paths with Joel — and we’re sure many of you would have nothing but great things to say about him!

One happy customer summed it up perfectly:

Beth is one of the people behind the scenes who keeps everything ticking along and makes sure the day-to-day runs as smoothly as possible. She’s hardworking, reliable and always ready to jump in and get things done.

When she’s not at Rocky’s, you’ll find her out on the water in her kayak, chasing the next big catch. She’s also no stranger to a fishing comp or two!

We’re lucky to have Beth as part of the Rocky’s team and appreciate everything she does to keep the place running smoothly.

Our team has just completed the installation of a 5.17kW single-phase solar system for a rental property, paired with a Sungrow 5kW single-phase inverter.

A great way for the property to generate clean, renewable energy while helping reduce electricity costs for the occupants.

🌟 Meet the Team – Brayden AKA Billkat 🌟

Brayden, better known around Rockys (and the rest of town) as Billkat, has been part of the team since 2018.

He started out at the Rockys Solar Cowwarr Depot, labouring and working as a TA on some of our toughest installations. After getting a good taste of the electrical game, Billkat decided it was time to take the next step and kick off his electrical apprenticeship.

After plenty of hard work, he completed his apprenticeship and earned his A Grade Electrical Licence. Since then, he’s also achieved SAA Accreditation in Solar and Battery Installations, adding another string to his bow.

Billkat has become a valued part of the Rockys crew thanks to his strong work ethic, kind nature and willingness to get stuck into whatever gets thrown his way. And then, of course, there’s his legendary choice of music on site.

When he’s not on the tools, you’ll usually find Billkat fishing, camping or enjoying the footy.

From his early days with us before his apprenticeship to becoming one of our A Grade Electricians, it’s been great watching Billkat grow through the ranks at Rockys.

We’re lucky to have you on the team, Billkat!

Our client in Briagolong is now comfortably set up with reliable backup power thanks to a whopping 19.2kWh Sungrow Battery Bank.

They took full advantage of the current Federal Battery Rebate, saving thousands on their system!

Powered by a 10.34kW single-phase solar system and 8kW Sungrow Hybrid Inverter, they can now store their excess solar during the day and use it at night when the sun isn’t producing.

Rockys Solar & Electrical is looking for a highly organised, reliable and hands-on person to take ownership of our warehouse, depot and storerooms in Sale.

We’re not just looking for someone who can move boxes around. We want someone who will take pride in the space and make sure everything runs efficiently.

Success in this role is when:

- The warehouse is spotless.
- Stock is where it should be.
- Crews can find what they need.
- Materials are ready for upcoming jobs.
- Deliveries are checked and put away promptly.
- Everyday parts are kept in stock.
- Scrap and waste are kept under control.

** Most importantly, when someone walks through the depot, it should be obvious that somebody takes pride in it and owns it **
