🏆 2026 Best Sustainable Home Northern Regional Winners 🏆

We’re proud to share that our Mitchellstown build has been named Best Sustainable House for the northern region at the Master Builders Victoria awards.
This off grid hybrid home was designed as a private retreat, built around energy efficiency, low maintenance and year round comfort.
The pavilion style layout balances privacy with connection to the landscape, while airtight construction and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery keep the home comfortable and healthy in every season.
Designed by OUTLIER. and built by our team here in Seymour, it’s a home that performs as well as it looks and we’re thrilled to see that work recognised.
Thanks to our clients for trusting us with it, and to the local trades who helped bring it together.

We’ve broken ground on ‘Green Haven.’
Before the first photos from site, here’s the design we’re building toward.
Like every Maeco build, it’s engineered to stay comfortable through both ends of a Victorian year — and cost a lot less to run while it does it.
More as it comes out of the ground.

Last Friday night we attended the Northern Region Master Builders Awards, where we took home 🏆 Sustainable Home of the Year.

Thank you to our amazing clients who trusted us with their dream home.

To our team on the ground. Dylan, Josh, Myles, Carter and Andrew, and Steph and Carli in the office. Thank you for your continued efforts and dedication, it’s a pleasure to work with you all.

A big thanks too, to our trades and suppliers, this result is built on your work as much as ours.

And to Master Builders Victoria for a great night, and for everything you do backing builders in our region and across the country.
