Another fresh replacement completed ✔️☀️❄️

This system was replaced after the outdoor PC board failed, and with summer eventually coming back around, it was the perfect time for the customer to upgrade the unit before the next heat hits.

We recently completed this replacement here on the Sunshine Coast and we’re really happy with how clean this one turned out.

At MGM, we care about:

For those who don’t know us yet — we’re Matheus and Mariana, the couple behind MGM.

Over the past few years, we’ve been building this business from the ground up together.
Long days on-site, late nights behind the laptop, problem solving, quoting, planning, installing, learning and growing every single week.

And at the same time… we’ve also been renovating our own home little by little 🏠

So life lately has basically been:
work, dust, air conditioning, coffee, spreadsheets, tools, more work… and somehow still finding moments to laugh together along the way 😄

Matheus brings nearly 10 years of hands-on experience in the HVAC industry, while Mariana manages the background (and also jumps on-site whenever needed 😅).

We started MGM because we truly believed there was space in this industry for a company that values:

🌸 Behind MGM Air Conditioning there’s more than a business owner — there’s a woman helping build every part of it.

I’m Mariana, founder of MGM, and while I lead the finance, planning, strategy and expansion of the business, you’ll also often find me on-site. Carrying tools, preparing materials and supporting Matheus to make sure every job is delivered with the quality we stand for.

The HVAC industry is a very male-dominated environment, and it’s not always expected to see a woman involved at every level — from the business decisions to the physical work on-site.

But building MGM has never been about fitting into expectations.

It’s about creating something meaningful, growing a business with integrity, and showing that women can lead, build, plan, and get their hands dirty too.

Today I celebrate not only my journey, but every woman who is running businesses, breaking barriers, and creating space in industries where we haven’t always been seen.

On this job, we worked closely with both the Body Corporate and the owner to ensure the installation was:
• Compliant with BC guidelines
• Visually discreet from the outside
• Neat, tidy, and professionally finished

Living close to the ocean comes with great views 🌊 — but it can be tough on your air conditioning system.

We offer anti-rust and gecko protection treatment, which can be safely sprayed on outdoor unit PCBs and coils to help prevent:
• Corrosion caused by salty air
• Gecko damage inside the outdoor unit

This treatment is especially recommended for coastal properties and helps extend the life of your system.
