ANNOUNCEMENT TIME…

After the past 7 years of working within Ipswich and surrounds (with the most incredible client base we could have ever imagined), this little business has made a big move…

JH Carpentry & Renovations now calls the Sunshine Coast home!!

We are so ready for the change of pace and change of scenery. Our little business will take a back seat for a short period while we settle in, and reset after what has been a whirlwind few weeks!

BUT, most importantly… We cannot thank you all enough for the ongoing support, every job opportunity you gave us got us one step closer to this moment and setting up the lifestyle we dreamed of for our little family!!

Our latest project …. PALOMA!

We’ve been missing in action on the Facebook front over the past few months as we were deep in our biggest renovation to date… converting this very run down 3 bed, 1 bath Queenslander into a completely restored 5 bed, 4 bath, dual occupancy luxury home! Fitted out with 2 full kitchens, beautifully crafted internal stairs and all the modern comforts of a newly built home, the finished result blew us away!

My favourite facelift to date!! 🙌🏼

These before and afters are pretty unreal, and it’s crazy rewarding to look back and see the life we brought back to a home that was built in 1890! Restoring some of those iconic cottage features while fitting her with some more modern comforts!

Best part - you can actually stay in this home and check out our workmanship for yourself! It’s now one of the cutest airBnB’s in Ipswich and you can book your stay online through Urban Getaways!!

This was the cutest little 1890’s minors cottage and boy did it need a kitchen update…

The space was totally change to allow for the most functional new kitchen, we deleted the door, changed the window locations and installed floor to ceiling cabinetry for maximum storage 🙌🏼

A couple of quick before and after snaps of one of our more recent bathroom jobs …

The original space was a main bathroom with joining laundry, that had external access. With a little playing around with the layout, we were able to split this space into a brand new ensuite AND main bathroom! Deleting the external access and relocating the laundry to another area of the house.

Such a massive contrast in the before and afters on this one! 🙌🏼

We’ve been really quiet on the Facebook front, and here’s why …

Introducing PALOMA HOUSE, a beautiful 1900’s Queenslander that was in desperate need of some loving …

What was once a run down, 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house is currently being converted into a 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom home with dual living (yes… it’s going to have 2 kitchens!!!) … Not to mention already having front and rear yard access with a 3 bay lock up shed AND all sitting on a large flat block….

This one is going to be special!! Stay tuned …

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

We are forever grateful for the endless support of our little business, even as we ventured down a slightly different path during 2024, moving into full house projects of our own!

Check out the houses that made up our year…along with plenty of jobs in between for clients, it made for a very busy 12 months.

We look forward to sharing more of our projects with you in the year ahead!! May 2025 be kind to you all …

So excited for one of our OG JH Carpentry members 🙌🏼

Some of you may remember Daniel working for us part time while he completed his university studies, back when our business was based in NSW.

Once a JH member, always a JH member… we are incredibly proud and excited for all he has achieved since his time with us 💪🏼
