I had a few guys asking me for some finished pics of my custom tearaway L beads that I posted , here they are

C U S T O M P L A S T E R H A N D R A I L

Check out our latest custom creation , spanning over 3 levels a custom insitu plaster handrail , hand made and run on site by me and my trusty helper king Cag

This one was super tricky as it’s not like a normal balustrade where you can have a rail either side and run your jig around , that would be to easy 😂, this has a 25mm shadow gap against the wall which looks cool as but what a nightmare 🤯to run , you can’t just drop your excess mud to the side like normal .
Once I got over that then I had to deal with the ends where I had 1 rule to run off and then free hand the rest.

Super happy with the result , these are so much harder than your half rounds , anyone can do them , they’re easy , you just run it , patch it and sand it , this with all its tiny steps and curves really tests you out.

Why flat tape when you can use tearaway beads ?
It’s amazing what you can do with these products

Using beads for this finish is a lot more time consuming but it’s the right way to do it.
The quick easy way is to just flat tape it , but then later on you may get cracking as a result
When the beading looks this good , you know the setting will come up mint .

Working closely with the design team at .decorating.service and we were able to create this extraordinary piece of plaster art for our clients ceiling.

Like a lot of our jobs , you cannot walk into a plaster shop and buy this ceiling design anywhere , it was 100% custom made and designed for this client and this client only.

It’s a 1 off work of art .
