Flawless victory at Wollongong North Beach. 🏖️🌊

Closing out three days at the Wollongong North Beach Kiosk redevelopment. Our first time working alongside The Civil Experts and Wollongong City Council and what a privilege it’s been.

Honestly, you don’t always know what you’re walking into on a first job with a new principal and a new head contractor. But the TCE crew made it easy from the start, and the Council were a pleasure to work with throughout. Tight site organisation, clear communication, mutual respect between the trades — the kind of working environment where everyone can do their job properly. That’s not a given, and we don’t take it for granted.

Our side was the Class A friable umbrella; licensed supervision, decontamination, dedicated pedestrian spotter for the foreshore promenade, end-of-day emu-pick clearance. The site was highly visible with the public stopping throughout, and the whole team carried themselves with care for the work and the people walking past.

ACM-impacted soils removed, trucks loaded out, compliance pack handed over. Every box ticked — but more than that, a partnership we’re genuinely proud of.

Honoured to work alongside and on this one Deep in NSW bushland, where access is tough and the stakes are higher.

Together we cleared the asbestos, protected the land, and helped safeguard precious habitat for our Koalas and Platypus; two of NSW’s most vulnerable native species.

And just like that, the building is ready for the next stage…

But to be really honest it wasn’t “just like that”… This was a seriously labour-intensive job with long hours and tough conditions no shortcuts.

I couldn’t be prouder of the team we’ve built. Every single one of them showed up, pushed through, and delivered at the highest standard.

600m² of friable asbestos safely removed, scaffold and edge protection in place, and the structure handed over clean and compliant for the build team to take it from here.

These types of jobs are not for amateurs. They demand real experience, proper planning, the right licences, and a team that knows exactly what they’re doing.

A huge thank you to the team at for the trust and the seamless collaboration on this one. It’s always a pleasure working alongside builders who hold the same standards we do — quality work, proper process, and respect for the trade.

Look at this roof.
Now look at the edge protection running the entire perimeter. Every corner. Every edge. On a commercial roof this size — that’s not standard. That’s a choice. Our choice. Every single time.
HEPA vacuum working the timbers after every sheet came down — because asbestos removal doesn’t end when the last sheet lifts. The fibres you can’t see are the ones that matter most.
Scissor lift inside the building to tackle the ceiling structure from below. Wet suppression on the sheeting before it moves. Full PPE — suits, respirators, gloves — the whole team, no exceptions.
300m² of asbestos roofing gone. Structure exposed, clean, and ready. New roof going on the same day.

School #3 ✔️ Denison College Bathurst

3 out of 4 schools completed during this holiday program.

This one started as a bonded (Class B) removal… but once we got on site, the material raised concern and presented like it could be friable.

Work was immediately stopped, area reassessed, and samples reviewed — exactly how it should be done.

Fortunately, it was confirmed as non-friable. But this is where experience and the right licensing really matters.

Having a Class A licensed team on site meant no delays, no panic, and no need to bring another contractor in. The job kept moving safely and in full compliance.

Sometimes the difference is not just removing asbestos…
it’s knowing when to stop.

We’ve just finished at Zig Zag Public School, removing over 280m² of vinyl tiles and preparing the area for the next stage.

Vinyl tiles is something we’ve done for years — and it shows in how we approach it.
Simple system, steady pace, clean result.

Grateful for the team that keeps showing up and delivering this level every time.
