Our motivated team conduct major and minor works for both the public and private sectors. Hardings Group is a locally owned and operated specialist civil contracting and asphalt business. Based in Ulverstone, we’ve been conducting works across the North West of Tasmania since 1986. Our team conduct major and minor works for both the public and private sectors in Tasmania, regularly servicing Tasmanian water, sewerage, roads, urban, industrial construction and infrastructure sectors. Our services include:

Hardings Group also has its own Asphalt Batch Plant which enables us to supply asphalt on our own projects, as well as being a supplier to other businesses and councils. At Hardings Group, roads are our bread and butter. Made by experienced teams and used by Tasmanians every day, our roads are built for durability, starting with the asphalt produced at our own plant.

Capable of producing up to 80 tonnes of asphalt per hour, our asphalt plant uses a VicRoads-registered mix design in accordance with RC 500.01 to produce high-quality asphalt.

Our plant is capable of producing mix designs for:
🔸 7, 10 and 14mm dense grade
🔸 10 and 14mm heavy grade
🔸 14mm psv54 dense grade and heavy grade
🔸 20mm structural interlayer asphalt

All asphalt is then tested by our in-house NATA-accredited lab, where we ensure that the mix meets the required standards.
